I'd like to ask you guys at gog, is there a site which would track multiple online game retailers and their sales with a possibility of e-mail notifications on a certain game? I want to finally get my hands on L. A. Noire complete and every sale is missing me by a mile or so.

You mean like Is There Any Deal? Not sure about email notifications, but it does seem to track quite a few.
More close to home is Bansama's http://didimatic.com/
Not sure about email notifications, but here are a few good sites:

http://www.steamgamesales.com/

http://www.cheapshark.com/

It does precisely what I needed, thank you!

Site appears to be a "runaway train" since the Steam Summer Sale ended earlier this month... anyone know when it will be accurate again? I'm referring only to the Steam sale portion of the site. It lists almost 8000 games on "sale", most of them duplicated dozens of times, and most importantly... the sale's over and most of the games are not on sale anymore.

Really liked this site much better than trying to page through Steam's sale pages.

I don't know. I know at once point Bansama was having trouble finding the time to maintain it, but someone else stepped in to help. I'm not sure what's become of that. Try contacting the new person maintaining it: http://didimatic.com/dd/en/announcement
