Interesting, you think in terms of wavelength!
ROYGBIV is forwards for me. I've never thought about it being backwards before.
Congrats alien283 and thanks for puzzle alexxeico.
Thanks for this puzzle. I'll have to try harder next time.

It is good, at the expense of the decision you broadened horizons.

Is there a method other than that?

I've learnt VIBGYOR as forward :P

There are some difficult puzzles I struggle with already:

I haven't yet managed any of these. Perhaps you'll have more luck!
I apologize at all participants: by the carelessness I incorrectly specified time of placement of a task.

Order by frequency? I learnt ROYGBIV. Here, they even pronounce it as if it were somebody's name, Roy G. Biv, as a mnemonic.

It is possible to create a difficult problem always, but especially it doesn't make sense if nobody finds the solution. I think process of solving has to bring pleasure to the participant, and especially finding of the correct answer.

I agree with you. But in this case, I know from experience that Fujek's and Austrobogulator's puzzles are usually reasonable and satisfying (even if a bit difficult!)

Ive learnt it as VIBGYOR because can be pronounced as a word itself
