I'll see your Ruse and raise you an Achron.

Time travel RTS. Build units, attack, go back in time, decide not to build units. Have your base destroyed, go back in time and stop it. the videos make my head hurt.

And I trump your Achron with a Stalin vs. Martians
Stalin VS. Martians.
So much anger guys. Wait for the game to be released before starting bashing the game controls and burn some consolefags.
But Achron sounds much more awesome than this game.
And nothing never will be more awesome than Stalin VS. Martin.

50 foot tall dancing Stalin kicking butt on the battlefield FTW...

Urb4nZ0mb13: Too bad the controls will be shit to accommodate for the idiotic consolefags that think Halo Wars invented the RTS. Then the gameplay/AI will be dumbed down to accommodate for the crap controls and... you get the picture.

Maybe they'll follow the example Ubi's Ghost Recon and GRAW teams have taken...make 2 different versions. A more action-oriented version for consoles, and a more tactical-oriented version for PC.

I don't have too much hope for that... but hopefully they do otherwise this game is destined to fail on the PC.
I'm really looking forward to the game, and I just saw this video trailer that allows you to even fake the enemy out and flank them from another direction. You can't NOT love that. It's a great spin on a genre and an even better spin of an oft-used setting.
I'm not much of an RTS player, might have to try a demo of this game out in the future to see what its like. Like everyone else here I hope they are developing it for PC first, Games like halo wars just don't hold up against pc RTS games.

Thats an intresting concept he has there, I could see that getting very confusing very fast though. I also can't imagine that in multiplayer with 2 people. I have enough trouble trying to keep up in starcraft so that would be insane where you can lose your troops but not lose them.

JonhMan: It's a PC game as well. I just hope it's ported from PC to consoles instead of vice versa... because we're sure to get a crappy game if it's from console to PC.

JudasIscariot: It will be Console to PC ..bet my bottom dollar/euro/lira/kronen on it ...

Yup, that appears to be the only way it's done these days. The PC games industry appears to be trying very hard to commit suicide.

"Brings"??
Ummm....doesn't "Chronosphere" ring any bells?
An interesting concept. Reminds me of the fake bases you could set up in Red Alert.
But after EndWar, and given Ubisoft's release strategy in general, there's no chance of this not being console fodder masquerading as a PC title. Which is a shame as, unlike EndWar, this actually has potential to be something decent.

In the game the Chronosphere was just a teleport device. The Chronotroopers just teleported around and attacked buildings too.

RUSE beta for the PC? Hell yes! Can't wait.
Oh, and RUSE has been confirmed to use Uplay, that Ubisoft game service thing.
After the closed and open beta I lost all my hopes about this game but now I played it again to give it an one more chance and bam. Game is really great and fun now, can't stop myself playing it. They did a really good job after beta and listened to players feedback. I planned playing some other games this weekend but now I will spend all of my time on this weekend to RUSE. Can't wait to release and I will pre-purchase the game although the Ubisoft DRM I think.
R.U.S.E. is very fun online, I really am considering buying it.
