Elmofongo: Well from what I have seen Arena is more generic, all the provinces you visit like Morrowind to skyrim looks the same, so no mushroom trees in morrowind.

And I always prefer Daggerfall and I am glad I am not the only one, Arena looks too dated imo where daggerfall looks as the though its more modern for the better.
Well, if you enjoyed Daggerfall, then Might and Magic would be a better choice over Ultima (and Quest for Glory) for you.

A main attraction of Ultima (and Quest for Glory) is every town, every character, every NPC, every dialog, every quest, every scene was individually crafted with care and attention to details. Everything was varied, different and interesting in its own way. Ultima and Quest for Glory are the antitheses of Daggerfall. The character stats in Ultima and Quest for Glory were very simplified and mostly non-consequential.

Daggerfall was more of the "everything is generic and the same with everything else in the game, but we give you shitloads of the same things over and over again in a huge world;" it is basically an expanded, glorified dungeon crawler. The fun of Daggerfall is purely in developing and raising stats for the main character, through combat, looting and leveling. Daggerfall is a very stats-heavy game. I call it a "spreadheet management" or "stats min-maxing" game. Some people like that. I do not. Might and Magic is mostly about combat, looting, leveling and building stats like Daggerfall, so you'd like it better than Ultima.

Elmofongo: Though I am not going to play these RPGs now (I have to many as it is), but in the future I want guys to help me which is better then the other for me decide the games are:

Ultima series or Might & Magic series, which do you recommend?
Depends on what you like.
If you like story and talking to NPCs, go for Ultima. If you like combat, looting and character development go for M&M.

Personally I prefer the M&M games. They are all good, except the last one, while the Ultima games are very variable in quality.
Both series have excellent spin-offs. The Ultima Underworld games are among the best games ever created IMO, and the Heroes of Might&Magic games are very enjoyable turn based fantasy strategy games with tactical combat.

Both are fantastic series and both are easy to recommend. Which one you'd prefer, though, depends on you. Just read the descriptions and game specific forums to see what's special in both, and then make up your mind.

(I'd personally not play the earliest games in either series, but it depends on your tolerance for really old games. I'd start the Ultima series from 7, and MM from 3.)

Have to agree with you. I was playing MM2 and enjoying it, and some people say it's the ONE, but I am actually having more fun with MM3. Some say 4&5 World of Xeen is best, which I am anxious to try. I loved six! Most fun I had with an RPG since StoneKeep. But I admit I have not played hundreds of RPG's.
I read more of Daggerfall and yep the deal is sealed, this game feels more like an elder scrolls game, both gameplay and lore.

Daggerfall was the first to introduced the Deadra which is a mainstay in the lore.

Also question how is combat is it more like morrowind?
The combat is like Morrowind, but with slight differences. For example, there are different directions to attack (vertical, thrust, horizontal and diagonally), where each one has different modifiers to the attack and damage. For magic, you select the spell you want to cast from a list and then point where you want to cast it (instead of being like a weapon like in Morrowind).
That reminds me, why don't we have the first two TES games here on GoG? I know they are free to download on TES website but still I'd like a GoG version ieven if I had to pay a little for them, I can't seem to be able to get TES: Arena working properly here...

Probably the same reasons other games like System Shock and X-COM and Wolfenstein3D/Doom are not here.

Blizzards reasons are obvious, they want complete control and all the profit even if they are old.

It depends on what gameplay aspects you like most. For me MM2 is clearly superior to MM3 due to the more tactical and varied combat encounters.
when in doubt it helps to see if there's an article about it on hg101.

Might and Magic

Ultima:

I hated Arena. Got out of the first dungeon, and my enthusiasm and enjoyment of the game plummeted like a rock because of how outdated the copypasta world is, while it was important for the time I don't think it really holds up very well today. Don't think I'd enjoy Daggerfall much either.
Get Ultima7 and Ultima UnderWorld 1 & 2; that'll keep you busy for a while.

I'm not sure what it is....it might even be something as simple as graphics which usually don't matter that much to me. I am still just starting out in this game. I somehow deleted or lost my wizard in 2 and did not want to go through building up a new one for now. It is a fun game and I do like it.
When deciding Ultima series or Might & Magic series, my recommendation is clearly the Might and Magic series.

Because they are owned by Bethesda and currently the game(s) are free but only on sites that Bethesda allows which in this case is technically is the Elder scrolls offical website similar to when Origin and later EA had done with Ultima 4 where they allowed sites opertated by the Ultima Dragons and some other site to distribute Ultima 4, which later included Ultima Forver and then GOG.

So basically if GOG was to release TES: Arena and TES 2: Daggerfall they would need permission from Bethesda to do so and given that there not it stands to reason that either they have yet to get Bethesda to agree to allow them to release them or they haven't contacted them about it yet.
