Simple, people are sick of FPS games because of bollocks like Call of Duty and Battlefield games. They've been shoved down gamers throats for soo long it's just stupid.

What I was aiming at is that the surge of "COD" is long over. There is one CoD coming out each year and a MoH every other. And apart from this, shooters are rather uncommon releases on the PC. If you look at a the DOOM-boom of the nineties.

Heck, we see more adventure release nowadays on the PC than military shooters. Or shoddy retro RPGs.

I think Gog already has most of the really notable ones. But, then again, iD isn't here, so those aren't likely to be available any time soon. And I know there are ones from LA with the same problem.

Ultimately, Gog seems to have most of the really good ones. Although, I have to admit that there's shedloads of lesser games that were fun. As bad as it was, I miss Lethal Tender and the Fortress of Dr. Radiaki, they weren't good games, but there was something about them that sort of worked.
