Would like to enter for triock, who gifted me an awesome game recently, which I'm still enjoying very much :)


As for giveaway rules, a difficult question. Imho, for the most part it depends on the kind of giveaway and the entrants you mean to aim for. Sometimes rep can be a less complicated way to sort out the intended target group. At other times, rep makes no difference for constructing the giveaway. Usually the more complicated/demanding the entry tasks the less important rep becomes as a sorting factor to me.

By the way, this rule is good: "No regifting nor trading allowed: the winner must activate the game him/herself or ask me for a reroll." I made a giveaway in February and allowed the winner to do with the game anything he want, the game is still not redeemed and tempts me to give it away in another giveaway.

Grargar: I just tried this with an AMD HD 6770/AMD 13.9 Drivers and the colour palette was all sorts of whacked. Seems to be more than just a warning.

Please, count me in for Reever, as I still have to play the first installment. ;)

About your question, I began to use a "+50 rep system OR joining date before October 2012" after the "Wakalo affair", but after the abuse on the rep system, I've added a list of exclusions to that requirement. I'm considering to get rid of the whole thing and accept all entries (unless they belong to fishy forum members). ;)

Apart from that, I always ask a question in my GAs as a mandatory requirement to enter them (though I try for it to be an interesting one :D), that allows me to see who are interested enough in the prizes to bother themselves to respond it. ;)
