I honestly don't know why you people are so exited about this. The original ROTT was pretty poorly done game and this remake looks like it's going down the same road. Only thing it had going for it was some kind of illusion of enemy AI, but the level design and gameplay were both poor.

Also the Deathmatch was some of the best.

(The actual point was, that shooting those was mandatory, because other they would just attack you again)
but it's a moot point as it's not likely to be released anywhere. Duke Nukem: Reloaded has been on hold for a while and none of the previous projects the developer has worked on have ever seen the light of day. DNR had the most promise as it had official permission.

*facepalm*
I looked it up. You're right, of course. For some reason, I thought that it released a little before Doom did.
I suppose, then, it's more accurate to say it's my favorite mid-90s non-Doom FPS.
In some ways it was gimmicky, but I think that's part of its charm. It also had some fantastic music, clever level designs, loads of content, and a ton of personality. Plus, to someone like me, the ways that it upgraded the Wolf3d engine.

They posted a holiday-themed trailer. Not much new to see, but still neat.
