And that's the problem with the review system as it's now: only those can take note of new reviews who really want to. I've been suggesting for long that there should be a "most recent reviews" section next to the reviews of a game, but it hasn't been implemented yet.
Still, rest assured that I found your review a nice one! :-)

I can't believe it! First time making a review and I won. It must be beginner's luck! Strange... usually I'm not lucky, maybe I should start buying lottery tickets... :)
Thank you GoG! I'm a little bit ashamed as it is not much of a review, but I'll try to make a better one next time ;)

I enjoyed it. Especially your clarification of the terms 'incredible', 'machine', 'mega' and 'pack'. I'm much clearer now, thanks! ;p But it was very good - just keep it up and I'm sure you'll be lucky one day.
And thanks again to GOG for picking my IG review. I'd like to think it was due to my appealing prose style, but it's probably down to the fact that only a few of us liked IG enough to review it! I notice that there's already some stiff competition for the Commandos pack, so good luck everyone!

Hmmm. There was no Community Update, and thus, also no Review Contest Update yesterday.
Is it getting longer to judge reviews? Or was it only a one-time influx of an outstanding number of reviews?
Congrats folks.:)
Thanks.
Awaiting the code and weekend promo to decide what will be going from my wishlist.

You mean next weekend's promo, right? The code will probably only arrive during next week, and this week's promo is the JoWood one.
BTW, congrats!
Congrats, guys.
What are you getting with your code? I'm going for IL1946, although my general feeling of warmth towards GOG means that I've also bought Cannon Fodder and Patrician 1&2 in the meantime. It just shows that competitions do work!

That's something I should have seen as I bought Gothic 2 from that promo.

I haven't decided yet.
There are currently 6 games on my wishlist: both Commandos, Might and Magic 6-pack, Incoming + Incoming Forces, The Longest Journey and Iron Storm.
Might and Magic 6-pack Limited Edition and The Longest Journey are the ones I think I'll choose between.
I haven't played an adventure in years and Fallout 1 and 2 are the only RPGs I ever played.

I can't speak for TLJ, as I'm not keen on adventure games, but I can tell you that you'll get a LOT of content with the MM6 pack. Even if you don't like hard-core old RPGs, MM6 offers a huge amount of play time, and -according to the general consensus- 3-5 are awesome as well with a lot of content. And if you DO like to go hard-core, MM1+2 are extra gems in the pack.

I've heard Iron Storm was a game with a cool, awesome idea that was executed badly. If you want a GOOD shooter, can't go wrong with Painkiller.
Some people seem to be quite positive about Iron Storm.
Due to the amount of negative comments I already decided not to purchase it till it's in a promo.
As for Painkiller, I already have that one, but simply lack the time to play it.
Thanks for the advice though.
Busy times at work and in my private life, so not that much game time atm.
The few hours I have left for gaming atm go mostly to Fallout 2 with the Restoration Project mod (only the San Francisco and Enclave quests left as far as I can tell).
Pushed the "Post" button too early during the writing of the Commandos 2+3 "review", so I had to end it via comment. Dammit.:D
