Retro City Rampage finally has a release date. It will release next Tuesday on Oct 9. Buying straight from the devs site gives you a DRM Free copy and a Steam or GOG key. Can't wait!

One day before my birthday, nice.
Coming to GOG too? Fantastic. I didn't back it, but I may buy it if it's good. Need a good beat em up. I miss River City Rampage :(

Thank you! I'll be 30 this year, as a gamer I feel old.

One day after my birthday. LOL

HAHA youngin' I'm turning 31...I pre-ordered the game already. It'll be kind of a nice just after birthday present for me.

The only tough choice for me is whether to pre-order through GOG (GOG gets more moneys so they can keep releasing more games I assume) or pre-order through the developer's site for the NES style boxart and manual and get a GOG redeem code. Tough choice.

How embarrassing. I just realized it's nothing like River City Rampage. Must have gotten it mixed up with another indie title. I was sure I'd seen a River City Rampage clone on Kickstarter somewhere.

-edit- Oh definitely confused it with something else. Just realized Retro City Rampage isn't even on Kickstarter.

Too many games to keep track of these days...

GOG has a preorder page up already. It is like a 8bit 2D version of Grand Theft Auto.

Happy Birthday as well! I am turning 31 on October 23. Don't feel old. Most gamers of retro games are from the age of 20-40.

Ah, you mean River City Ransom, a classic and insanely fun old game. Oh the crazy physics with weapons and bodies you could do in that game, quite impressive for the time actually.
FINALLY it has a release date, been following this project for quite some time and really want to play it.
Hell yes! Here's hoping I have the money for this soon. Going to buy it ASAP.
According to what they say on their site, this game is WINE-friendly and has really low system requirements. I'm really intrigued now.

Pssh. I've been 30 for eight months now. So there! =P

According to the ESA: "The average game player is 30 years old and has been playing games for 12 years." Yeah, right. More like 24 years of gaming, in my case. Gotta start them young. ;)
