Elmofongo: Dang 15 gigs of space?!

I am surprised 2 gamecube disc were worth more than 10 gigs.
It's probably 14 GB of upscaled PS2 cutscenes. XD

Oh yes I heard about ugh The PS2 version was probably shit, thank goodness RE4 came out on the Wii for me which brought back Gamecube Qualtiy Graphics.
On one hand I really like the game back when it came out. On the other, I'm feeling kind of ticked at Capcom possibly not fixing the GFWL business.

Now I'm also stuck thinking about my Gamecube games with no cube to play them on.
Still waiting for Resident Evil 1,2 and 3 on GOG Capcom it will probably never happen

More hope than anything with bethesda I guess, we got a street fighter game on here.
And the idiots are complaining that it's "only" 60 FPS.

Well, locking FPS is a bad idea full-stop, it's better just to allow the user to define the FPS based on the refresh rate of their monitor

Yes, I agree, but saying that you won't touch something just because it offers 60 FPS (which is twice as many frames per second as any other version of the game) seems childish.

Perhaps, but some people do own monitors with a refresh rate of 100fps or more, so it's only natural that they would want to play a "new" game in the native rate of their monitor.

It's like supporting 1920x1080 but not 1920x1200, it's not a big effort required by the developers to support that one extra step
Now that RE is mentioned, I search for REsident Evil 2 Platinum both here and at Steam. Not available. Sigh.

Since the ending song are awesome!

I believe the reason Street Fighter is here is because of Capcom USA, And it's the Japanese Side that holds Resident Evil.

Elmofongo: That would be Code Veronica where the villian is a potentially transvestite, insane manchild who also owns a private prison island thats also a military base. Its one of the lesser Resident Evils that brought back painful voice acting (probably because they let Sega handle it) and introduced silly things like Wesker being one with the Matrix :P

But still one thing good to say about it is that its better than Resident Evil 1 Original on the PSX and hell RE 6 for that matter, but I probably would not replay it because of how also hard it is and of course Steve.....
Weird, would have thought more people liked that game, it's my favorite resident evil and I loved the cheesy voice acting and the crazy laugh the villain had. I would say Code Veronica was my nr.1 Dreamcast experience.
I was surprised to see this coming out on pc. Might grab it someday.

that one is a tricky old coot to to get working on a modern 'Puter & it's limited to (IIRC) 640x480 res

it's one that would likely need some GOG magic to work well
Not bad. I loved the game back in the day, so I might give this a try. They have a chance to produce a decent PC port this time, so they better not screw this up.
