My curiousity got on top of me and I tweeted this guys about their engine and this is the response:

Looks like they've got some serious talent. I hope they're only planning on doing enough right now to get some investment into this project or this game won't see the light of day until this time next decade. They're going to need more people to maintain those kinds of standards.

Even so, if nothing else that looks like a good enough engine for them to be able to license it out and get in some money that way. Whatever the case, I hope they do what it takes to keep this thing alive.

Funny thing: all this graphics are made on 2 i5's and it is working on i7 with ease....
About the financing... they can easily put the game on Kickstarter or a simillar site.
But yet they first need something more than a trailer for sure.

Yeah, there's no real indication of what kind of game it's going to be yet. Obviously it's not Farming Simulator 2142, but other than that there's not a lot that can be gleaned from it.

This is what Joystiq said about it:
"In this first-person puzzle game, players have the ability to travel back in time to solve puzzles cooperatively with themselves, meaning the phrase "single-player co-op" makes an impossible amount of sense."

Was that the Winterbottom game? That looked to me like something that would give me a headache after a while. Even if I did get it.

Never played it to be honest... time will tell what this will come out in final... So far it looks great... and if they just sell the engine to let's say: CDPR ... it will be ok :D

CDPR seem to be doing just fine, engine-wise. But Bethesda could certainly make use of it. :P

Ah noo no Bethesda... CDPR - DRM-free is better :D
Wow. That. Just... That. These are by two people you say?
Mindblowing how much work two people put into this, and all of these big-name publishers are always making huge teams churn out tons games a bit around this graphical quality, but TWO INDIE DEVS TO MAKE THIS MUCH MINDBLOWYNESS?

It would be a hard sell given what they achieved with the Witcher 2 engine. As long as the devs get the money they need to finish this game then they could license the engine to Ubisoft for all I care.

Well... okay. Maybe not Ubisoft.

:D Yeah I know what you mean... just pointing that they need to sell it to a good company like CDPR

Yeah, but that was just a video. Albeit a very impressive one. The large development teams are what you need when you try and create an 8+ hour game to that standard.
