I mentioned in a question topic a few days ago that I like to have hard copies of my data, and just now, I backed up my installers for Unreal Tournament 2004 and Fallout 2.

How difficult would it be for you guys to provide the CRC32 or MD5 hashes for the installer files so we can verify them on our own if we need to? I realize this service is probably already provided by the integrity checker built into the installers, but (for me, anyway) it'd be nice to be able to verify it on my own.
+1

This would be useful to me too. It would allow me to much more quickly check that my backups haven't become corrupted.

Thanks!
Perfect. Thanks for the link, Vagabond.
Regarding Vagabond's link, we'd all be grateful if you could help us out. There's over 350 GOG games and it's always possible we don't have them all correct.

If you've got a GOG that doesn't match the MD5 from that page, and you know you've only just downloaded it and you know it installs just fine, please update the page accordingly.

Remember only update the page IF you've recently downloaded the game. And by recently I mean within 20 minutes of updating the page. Also make absolutely sure the integrity of your GOG is confirmed by using the built-in integrity checker.

Furthermore, please go crazy with the Wiki! See the page on Duke Nukem 3D for a good indication of the kind of content the Wiki needs. We want mods, compatibility and installation guides, fixes... you name it. Get it on the Wiki.

Don't be afraid! Get editing!

But only ~290 products and how dare you question the integrity of my data :|

Do I need to take the shovel off you or are you happy to continue to dig a deeper hole? :P
