That is if your post is uprepped, of course. Normally, you get one rep per day.

Out of curiosity, how many rep points can be lost per post (due to downvoting), and how many downvotes does it take to display "low rated" on a post?

I'm not entirely sure, but I think it's 3 negative votes for -1 rep. It may be 5. And I don't know if there's a limit of negative reputation per post.

Once I lost like 20 rep in an hour :P

It's kind of funny to me that most everyone likes to complain about the current system of "voting," but no one really knows how it works. Seems to me that if care about your rep, don't act like a douche, if you don't care, you don't have anything to worry about anyway. Problem solved!

It's hard to evaluate, because there is no way of showing how many people uprepped or downrepped you. Also, the system was altered once. A few years ago, when you could get unlimited + rep by uprepping, or something.
