There are three pages of people bitching about rep here and you single me out for something I posted last week in a different thread. On top of that, the only reason I edited that particular post is because I felt like shit about it after words realizing I had gone too far with it. If you want to accuse me of trying to be a victim go ahead but I assure you the only time I am ever victimized is when your wife insist on being on top.

All you do is whine about your rep???? Day in, day out. You take no responsibility for causing the down repping. You seem to want to say anything, post anything you want . . no matter how offensive it might be to some of the international community . . an reject the idea that they can voice their opinion by down repping you.

So, back to victim, unjustly criticized. I REALLY would like to see your rep rise . . really I would. You have done nothing to me that would cause me to dislike you personally. You have been given advice on what you are doing to draw down reps by many community members . . old and new members alike. You ignore the advice.

The community is self moderated, good or bad, by the rep system. Your one goal seems to be to remove the only means the community has to moderate the forum. I have no problem with that, if GOG decides to remove the rep system . . so be it. Making yourself appear to be a good reason to remove the rep system is what I disagree with.

You are drawing down reps by the content of your posts, spamming every other post etc. etc. Own your actions, stop whining about down repping you cause yourself and make a reasonable case for removing the communities only form of moderation to the Blues.

It has got really ugly as of late though, with some people constantly downrepping some other people, and just recently a person who had some trouble starting three games that (s)he had bought got downrepped for asking for help. The person did not look like a very computer-savvy person, and I guess to some the question might have been phrased in a "stupid" way, but if you don't know how to use a computer well, then it is hard to phrase a computer-related question in a good way. It has turned into a trolling tool.

And rep does matter. Not when we are talking about the difference between 500 & 600, but when we are talking about the difference between negative and positive rep. It is harder to find someone willing to trade with you if you have negative rep, as it "might" indicate that you are a dishonest person.

I guess someone is running a script or forum bots that downvote posts by the username .

The massive downrep I jut got doesn't bother me but I thought my 'hacking' post deserved (at the very least) a bigger laugh. I don't care if my posts get derepped, just so long as the person doing the deprepping gets a chuckle out of them first. :D
