I'd like to enter for ''King of dragon pass''.
Reason: I own all the other games. Plus KoDP has 667 user ratings. He he he.
For some reason I haven't noticed KoDP until today, even though its rating is 5/5!

As for your questions:

1- Why do you want to play this game?

Because I love games with choices and consequences! I think my first experience with this feature was with Castles 2 (here on GOG) which I had the chance to play at the time. As ruler of your own kingdom, you were asked to take decisions on issues from time to time. I still remember the thrill I felt each time one of those issues arrived! :)

I'm getting the same thrill with King of Dragon Pass, but it's even better, because your decisions have lasting effects, often arising new C&C iterations. And as I love to read Scandinavian mithology since I was a child, this game feels like I'm living that age, in a way. :)

I think theslitherydeee would love the game too, so that my reason to enter for him. ;)

2- Why would you rather buy any other game over the game you asked?

Because I already have it? ;)

Reading OP's requests and deciding to comply with them aren't the same thing. ;)

A lot of people who participated said they down voted. So unless we were all lying it probably is just people who had no interest in joining after seeing what was on offer, up repped you, and left without reading the whole thing. I usually make a habit of dropping +1s in GAs so they know that people notice and acknowledge what they are doing.

Well, I still feel that way. I'm selfish bastard like that, I like to give away games on my terms. However, I decided not to because I knew the post would get uprepped anyway and we would all end up feeling bad about it.

As for gifting... you see the questions. I want the games going to people who will play them, but if you manage to answer those 2 questions and convince me, you they'll still get the games.

I still remember the day I bought it, full price at my local store, I couldn't believe it when I saw the shiny box sitting on the shelf, I knew instantly what I was going home with that day.

Got it home, played the hell out of it! My best friend (rest in peace) came over and actually asked why I got that instead of Daikatana lol.. He learned to love the game quickly as well, as it became one of his favorites.

I haven't brought myself to buy a copy on here yet because it's currently priced at $9.99 and I still have my boxed copy up in the closet.
