Anyone know if it's possible and if so how? All the entries for Elven Legacy (and expansions) are in Russian and I'd rather change the names to language I actually understand. But I can't seem to find a way to do so.

You can find the Games Explorer entries there. Just find the game you're after, and edit the Title key.
EDIT: For some reason, the forum is leaving a space in "CurrentVersion". Forum bug, GOG!

I'll give that try. Regarding the bug comment, I don't think that's a bug. It's probably a split being inserted after x characters to prevent exceptionally long strings (which would cause horizontal scrolling - making the forums harder to read).
Ok, tried it. It only half worked. The entries are still in Russian, but the status bar shows the English name I put in the registry entries.=S

The Game Explorer Manager should be able to do what you want.

Word of advice, if you have a non-English version of windows 7 (like I do), that program will just cause problems -- it basically corrupted any entry I tried to edit with it. Oh well, just have to use the registry edit and put with half of the information being in Russian =S.
Not what you were asking for, but you might want to consider skipping the games explorer entirely. Either Win7 indexes the start menu a lot better (or I just never tried it in Vista), but it is actually REALLY fast to just type in the name of whatever you want in the "Search Programs and Files" box on the start menu. If you have a shortcut in the start menu (or one of the other places it indexes), it will find it lickety split.
Not perfect, but I find that it works well enough that I don't even know what my start menu looks like anymore (well, beyond the things I have pinned :p). And it shouldn't have the Russian problem.

Start menu also had the items in Russian =S Although renaming is easier. But the game explorer has its uses which is why I kinda need to read the entries. That and it just bugs me.

Or forum feature... the forum could be cutting up really long words to prevent us from having to scroll horizontally while reading a post.
(as an example, here's a reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaally long word)

I found it strange since there is still place left for more letters in one line. But that probably has to do with my resolution.
