Speaking as a practicing Catholic, I can't think of any good reason why God would consider wargaming sinful. After all, when we're killing eachother in a virtual world, we're generally too distracted to kill eachother in the real world. Plus, online gaming brings all of God's children together into great communities, held together by love and mutual respect (sorta).

Populous was awesome; its simplicity was mesmerizing. I just could never get into its "spiritual successor" Black and White.

So what would the missionary hero game be like? You get a special cross controller, the screen is a bible with verses scrolling down and you have to hit the buttons on the cross to pick the right verses so you can recreate famous papal masses? If you play as the pope, there has to be a minigame where you drive the pope mobile through an obstacle course
