You did it.....you actually did it. You released my nemesis of a game on this site. How could you??????

This game cost me 2 consoles because it was such a damn infuriating game. There is nothing worse than doing badly and being vindicated for it and insulted by your own general for sucking so much. I.....I am now at a loss for words........................................Maybe I should buy this game and see if it has changed, or I have changed. (bye bye pc, been nice knowing ya) lol
Good to see the return of Zod and his lazy soldiers. I remember I played it on a 486 DX :)

popperik: Sooo, how do I find this game in the search box by its title? :)
avatar
catpower1980: Yep, good point! There is actually no way to find it back through the search engine because two letters minimum are needed. I'm wondering how the GOG team is gonna resolve this issue...
Aha! So that's what they were working on the other day:

So where are these people that cried like babies because it was going on steam? Eh Eh Eh!! :P

We are on page 1 of this thread :) And we all knew the game was coming on gog since it was confirmed by the publisher (unofficial release thread) :)

MIK0: I think that when you release a "remake" that is somehow different from the original, you should release the original as a bonus as well. That's should be the rule.
I agree with this.
I like strategies very much but 90%+ of them are turn-based ones. Saying all that, Z is one of my top listed RTS retro games - mostly for a big dose of humor and unique approach to the subject.

Too bad I can't buy it right away, maybe in the future... :)

This game doesn't work on Windows XP as mentioned on the game card, correct?

That is correct, sorry :(
Great release, it reminds me Original War (RIP) and KKND!

JudasIscariot: That is correct, sorry :(
If I may ask - why doesn't it?

It did not want to launch when we tested it. Perhaps this will get addressed in a later update, but, as it stands right now, we can't claim it works on XP :(
Thanks - finally some goodOLDGame again. Love it, instantly bought it again.
Best,
D

hmmm... if it doesn't work on XP, I'm assuming this is a modern Windows port, rather than something using DOSBox. Am I correct?

EDIT: ahhh I see.....

The classic Real Time Strategy Game by the Bitmap Brothers remade for PC.
