Awesome stuff. I never actually expected this to come here, given that all the prior PR work focused on it coming out on Steam and GamersGate offered a Steam key in its preorder. Also, I expected GOG to be left out in the cold due to its multiplayer focus, but oddly enough, the game apparently doesn't support multiplayer on Steam either.

I still have my DOS CD version kicking around here and I'm not really on my laptop all that much right now, so I'll wait this one out, but it's definitely a game I can recommend.

LindsayYates: The game is going to be $7 at normal price. Hopefully this doesn't become at trend on GOG.
What's wrong with $7?

Gonadius: According to the store-page, the game was only released today...
This is a new version of the game (previously released for Mac OS X and mobile devices); it is not the game in its original form. GOG only has the Windows version of this port which is releasing today for the first time.
Wow I still remember this clearly. Not sure why I was so obsessed with this game, maybe it was the way the bots would talk. I've still got 'grunts reporting' ringing away. This was on Playstation though, so it could be different as some PC to console games are.
YES!
OMG I totally forgot about this game! It was great!
It looks like some folks around are diehard fans of that game---> but, would you still recommend it TODAY?
And what are the outstanding elements no other game features?

popperik: Sooo, how do I find this game in the search box by its title? :)
Yep, good point! There is actually no way to find it back through the search engine because two letters minimum are needed. I'm wondering how the GOG team is gonna resolve this issue because I don't imagine people one year later browsing through the strategy catalog only to find the game page.
Downloaded it immediately, installed on linux in wine 1.7.21 and it works! What to do for the rest of the shift in work seems to be solved :D

I wonder about the same thing.
Its not like 7$ is expensive except for maybe 3d world contrys.
Annyway if you dont like the price now you can wait for sale or something.

Actually there is one way: type in 'kiss' or 'tick' - Z appears. It's connected via the developer's/publisher's name.
Amazing! I remember playing this game in my childhood quite a bit.

Is there any actual differences between this and the Steam version? Such as with Chaos Engine where Steam had online multiplayer and GOGs only had local?

This isn't to do with GOG; this game is $7 everywhere even when it first appeared on the Mac App Store in 2012.
