The war of twelve races.

Warlords Battlecry II, a classic RTS game telling the story of an epic struggle between the races of the fantastic world of Etheria, is now available on GOG.com for only $5.99.

Etheria is still at war. The twelve races have been locked in a struggle for centuries and it seems that they will never know peace. They hunger for power and dominion over the land. Some use brutal force and numbers. Others use magic and cunning or even battlefield technology. Each faction has its own strengths and weaknesses, all of which have become well know to the other over the centuries of conflicts. All of them have gathered an unfathomable military power. There's just one thing that seems unachievable: a lasting victory. Are you a leader capable enough to change that?

Warlords Battlecry II delivers a solid RTS experience that any strategy fan is bound to appreciate. With twelve distinct factions to choose from, a hundred and forty units you can control, and sixty seven regions to conquer, this game will keep you busy for many hours. There are even some RPG elements here, as the hero whose role you assume can complete various optional quest, and the units under your command gather experience and level up. If the main campaign is still not enough for you, check out the skirmish mode that delivers endless challenge, or even create your own scenarios in the provided map editor.

Are you craving for classic RTS action in a gritty fantasy setting? Pick up your copy of Warlords Battlecry II, for only $5.99.
Nice :) Just started getting into Battlecry 1 as well. Good to see the trilogy complete.

Have this on disc already in German, but wishlisted for a future sale so I can have it in English.
Do you ackowledge Warlords 1-4 turn based King's bounty clones existence?

Also, have you forgotten about Settlers 3 and 4 , or you just can't make them compatible?

I know these questions are not gonna be answered, but I'm gonna throw them anyway :P
The game looks good - finally I will be able to jump into complete Warlords Battlecry trilogy! Thanks gog!
I do prefer the original turn based warlords series... too bad, that Warlords 3 is quite hard to get running on a modern system.
So Warcraft meets Age of Wonder?
Pass for now. Already have two physical copies and am not a huge fan of it. Although odds are that I will enjoy the game more next time I try it.

Settlers 3 has a XP Patch by the developers and with it can run on XP/Vista/7 32/64bits. It has a problem with the music no longer looping (Windows problem). Big issue is the disc swapping. I have no idea if there was ever a crack or if you'd have to mount the different ISO's.

Settlers 4 runs on XP/Vista/7 32/64bits but in some cases there is a rather unfixable "black box" bug. It also needs to swap discs.

How does GOG handle Windows games with disc swapping? If there isn't already a crack that stops it I'd doubt we'll see Settlers 3&4 for a long time.
Finally, my favourite installment in Battlecry series! Thank you, GOG!

I have Settlers I-IV anthology distributed by CDProjekt, and I don't recall any disc swapping.

Also, it's quite easy to circumvent by changing the paths in game files. Instead of it looking for files on a optical drive, it would seek for them in a fixed catalogue.

It's how it's done with most games.

On the original and Gold Editions I've got you need to swap between the two discs. But if its that easy to fix it, WHY DON'T WE HAVE THE SETTLERS 3&4 YET???? COME ON GOG!!!!

Maybe there are some other issues as Settlers 3 is hardly re-released and usually without expansions. But there is still a re-release of Settlers 4 Gold by Ubisoft what can be found easily in shops.

Also, we need Settlers 1 and 6 too.
I was waiting for this! I wanted to experience the whole trilogy! But I think I will grab it during a promo, because I have more than plenty games to play at the moment.

And I agree with others that original Warlords would make a great addition here. Personally I'm not interested in Settlers series because I didn't really liked anything above Settlers 2 but still I wold like to see those games here so that other users may enjoy them.
Great addition, nice to see the trilogy completed.
