RPG heroes fight in real time-strategy.

Warlords Battlecry, the real time strategy game that includes many role-playing elements to build a truly captivating fantasy war saga, is now available on GOG.com for only $5.99.

Barbarians, High Elves, Humans, Dark Elves, Dwarves, Minotaurs, Wood Elves, and the Undead--they all want the tears. Navarre, the white tear, and Lucifus, the red tear--these are the stones all want to posses. War is consuming the world, for those who have the tears gain the ability to give life, or give death. Choose your side, choose the path, and become the savior or doom of your world.

Warlords Battlecry is a great RTS/RPG mix that takes what's best from Warcraft II and Heroes of Might and Magic series, and adds it to the high-fantasy world of turn-base Warlords games. The game was created by Steve Fawkner, who not only committed to the gaming world by making Warlords and Warlords Battlecry series, but also by coining the term "role-playing strategy" in 2000 when the first game in WBC series was released--the very game you can get now on GOG.com with the soundtrack, game manual, and wallpapers.

Warlords Battlecry, the original "role-playing strategy" is available now on GOG.com for only $5.99.
Way to publish a series. ^^
Not very interested but nice release anyway.
Oooh does this mean we might get a release of the turn-based Warlords at some point?

I never liked the Battlecry series, I am afraid. Even the best in the series was quite average, and all three games basically recycled the same units/sprites etc. Can't even remember which one is which anymore...
Nice, I hope that means we can count on more prequels / sequels from Ubisoft (Settlers) and more SSG (Warlords) games.

Yes, yes, we want the turn based warlords series! And I'm series... I mean serious about it! :)
Wishlisted for now. I've heard that Warlords Battlecry is supposed to be quite nice.

But more importantly, where are the turnbased warlords games? Those were great (well, 3 at least, I have not played 1 & 2)
Another vote for the turnbased Warlords. :-)

I played all of them, but 2 most, and it's the best of the series, although 3rd part is great too, and AFAIR it's more complex and bigger than 2.
Not interested, but i'm sure there are people who will like this.

I certainly hope so. Warlords 3 - which I'm a huge fan of - works fine in the VirtualBox environment (Win XP guest), but it would be extremely convenient to have a Windows 7-compatible copy.

WL2 Deluxe http://www.ssgus.com/wldeluxe.html
The games a complete package, it includes a scenario builder and 60 scenarios, over a $160.00 value if purchased separately and you pay only $27.00
Same for either of the two editions of WL3. *facepalm*
Screw them.
Looks interesting. Wishlisted for now.
Nice release. I'll wishlist it for now as my play list keeps growing with each passing promo. I do hope to see #2 in this series here as well. All in good time of course.
I would prefer Warlords 1 or 2, but it seems the chances are low because the rights not with Ubisoft?
