:O That's some incredible value for only 10 bucks. But my backlog is HUUUGE, and I just spent a lot of $ on Divinity Original Sin Kickstarter, so wishlisted :).

Lodium: Hmm, i have heard some nice stuff about this game.
Is it worth picking up?
I liked the first two worlds, sort of like Oblivion but without level scaling making everything pointless.
Thanks for the prompt replies - I guess that GOG set Two Worlds 2 free then.

Will ask once more - would people advice to play them in order?

Aww man. Level scaling = Good intentions, gone horrendously bad. Nothing highlights how awfully that was implemented than increasing levels fast, getting an uber monster from the oblivion gates to show up and heading to the nearby city for a slaughter-fest. Since as we all know, you only scale level monsters and not the population within cities. What a horrible concept they pulled. At least it was shelved quickly and put in the dust bin of history.

IGN did a nice editorial piece comparing both games side by side. You might wan't to read that to make a better decision yourself.

Thanks for the link, will read it a.s.a.p. - silly I didn't think of searching for something like that myself.

keeveek: and at the same time it would be a build that would include all the patches and be compatible with them? Yeah, right.

dirtyharry50: Keeveek, Keeveek... lol.
Oh, in that case, they probably didn't release Mac version not because it wasn't ready, but just to fuck with you. Can't blame them.
Great game I have it and the dlc on PC and 360, excellent value tbh.
So, I won't get the game for free? Dammit guys, you seriously have to reconsider your marketing strategy...

:D :D :D :D :D

Whitewraith: I think its silly to complain about not releasing a MAC version. I am sure if GOG plans to do it they will do it as soon as it is ready. It seems like they release their MAC version in waves so just have some patience.

dirtyharry50: Thanks. I guess maybe it is silly when it doesn't affect you. I appreciate your kind consideration.
All I am saying is GOG is a small team, they are trying their best to release games as quick as they can. There are so many hours in a day. They are a customer based company , so who knows why they didn't release MAC version right now. Maybe they never will but I am sure if they plan to do it they will get it out as fast as they can.

timppu: Woohoo! Me so happy me never buy this elsewhere, like Steam for example.
Agreed. I recently missed the GoTY edition for $7.49 at GamersGate (on Apr 17), and was pissed at myself. Now it seems like fate that I screwed that up. Sure it's a couple bucks more right now, but seems like a no-brainer:

Fantastic: On topic, I don't think I'll buy this game soon, as I already have the first one, and I didn't play with it, so I think I should finish the first game before buying the sequel.
But wouldn't it look so nice... on your shelf... waiting for you? It's only $10, get it already!

Hahahaha haha
Really enjoyed TW2 itself. Great graphics, some fun dialogues, good gameplay and world design.
No idea about the expansion though.
Somebody forgot to mark this one completed.

(Yes, Two Worlds 2 has two wishlist entries too.)

dirtyharry50: , it would not be hard to run a build that didn't include the DRM, a build that up to that moment in time had also been through QA.

keeveek: and at the same time it would be a build that would include all the patches and be compatible with them? Yeah, right.
That updates are made after a DRM-infested version was already published doesn't mean that the developers apply them directly to that one and then have to go through some complicated process of removing the DRM and checking whether the game still works after doing that. That kind of development process would be insane.
