An intelligent heist game.

The Marvelous Miss Take, a fast-paced comedic heist game with an engaging story, challenging you to think and act quick is available for Windows and Mac, DRM-free on GOG.com!

The Marvelous Miss Take turns the stealth genre on its head by using organised chaos to keep players on their toes. Successfully pilfering portraits isn’t as easy as it may seem: wandering guards decide their patrol routes on the fly, security cameras keep watch over everything and even innocent gallery goers just visiting to admire the art might raise the alarm if they see something suspicious. Only by using quick wits and even quicker reflexes can players hope to grab the loot (that rightfully should be yours, to begin with) and escape unseen – there’s no option for violence and the clock is ticking!

With a funny, engaging story written by BAFTA winner James Leach, cartoony presentation, and 25 multi-floored galleries to pay a visit to, The Marvelous Miss Take makes cat burglary fun and cheerful again!

tfishell: I guess I'm looking forward to the sale being over if somehow that means more LA titles, or Night Dive titles, or Cinemaware titles, etc.
Yeah, me too. I'm hoping that Outlaws will be one of the next games they'll release. But because of the sale no LA titles seem to be launching. Perhaps next week...
Seems interesting...
Reminds me of Carmen Sandiego going to wishlist it drained from the sale at the moment.
Looks like a fun little distraction, it somehow reminds me of a re-skinned and not-quite-as-free-to-play version of The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot. Will probably buy it during next year's Xmas sale.

So...question. how does one know if its regionally priced?
It certainly looks interesting. It's priced too high for an impulse buy so I'll have to wait for a sale (and hopefully some quality reviews) to show up first. Well, it's on the wishlist for now.

When you click on the gamepage and see the fair price package, the game is regionally priced.
Looks kinda girly... But if the stealth mechanics are solid, I might get it on a sale .
Looks interesting and the gameplay reminds me a bit of Commandos, what with the timing, stealth, and distraction elements.

Thanks for the new developer, gOg. Best of luck, Wonderstruck.

benmar: I have a serious Carmen Sandiego feeling all of a sudden.
Well, get caught in the surveillance camera's field of view and the guards will no longer have to worry about where in the world you are.
Another regional priced piece of crap.
Shame on gog for accepting "regional discrimination".

I don't see that...im prolly missing it.
Course regional pricing seems like another fight for the entilted to spout platitudes without understanding a thing they're really talking about.
I'll be the black sheep and say that I don't like it much.. OK, maybe the game IS good (after all, it is a stealth game and you steal stuff!) but whenever I look at the screenshots I feel I'm playing inside Barbie's or Polly Pocket's house.. :P

You don't go around swaying your hair to distract guards? I do that all the time. (Doesn't always work though... might have something to do with the beard, I've heard).

It reminds me of Evil Genius, but much nicer. The color palette and look are both very similar. Actually, it's like an updated version of Evil Genius, but set in an old board game I really liked - Clue: The Museum Caper.
