The thrilling conclusion to the Blackwell series.

The Blackwell Epiphany, the fifth supernatural murder and mystery story in Wadjet Eye Games old-school point-and-click series with classic 2D graphics and a chilling story, is available on GOG.com for $14.99.

A dead man’s soul cries out against the force of a ferocious blizzard. He cries for help. He cries for answers. Then he screams as he is torn apart like damp tissue paper. This wasn't the first time, and it won’t be the last. The police are powerless to stop it, so the duty falls to the only ones who can. What force could be so powerful--and so malevolent--that it would destroy the very core of a life in order to get what it wants? Rosa Blackwell and Joey Mallone mean to find out, even if it means risking themselves in the process.

The Blackwell Epiphany serves as the fifth and final installment of the supernatural murder-mystery adventure series from Wadjet Eye Games. As usual, the game is a real treat for the fans of classic point-and-click gameplay and traditional hand-crafted 2D graphics. The game is longer than any of the previous ones, and--being the climax to Rosa Blackwell's story--it promises more excitement, drama, and danger. Our heroine and her opacity-impaired partner, the spirit-sleuth Joey Mallone, will face their ultimate challenge. Can you see them safe through it?

Stretch your wrist and warm up your mouse, as you're up for some serious pointing and clicking in The Blackwell Epiphany, for $14.99 on GOG.com.
Thanks, downloading the game. I'll probably play it next week though...

davelgil: Hi everyone! Developer Dave from Wadjet here. Sorry about the soundtrack! In the rush to get everything ready for launch, there is always always some minor detail you forget. :) The tracks have been dutifully numbered, tagged, and reuploaded to GOG and Humble. Hopefully they will be updated soon.
Soundtrack updated :)

LynetteC: Looks great, but I think I'd better play 1-4 first! Wishlisted for now.

Leroux: So I preordered from Wadjet Eye, and apparantly one of the pre-order bonuses is watching the release party via Livestream. And it's streamed on youtube, which, as I just learned, is denying German users access to livestreams due to legal problems ... Good thing I don't support pre-order exclusives anyway, I guess. :D
Not familiar with Proxmate? Or it wont work with livestreams?
Hi everyone! I reviewed the game for Nerdy but Flirty here:

It's a wonderful conclusion. I marathoned the other four games before playing, so the whole story is fresh in my mind. :D

The pre-order bonus goodies are considered by our system to be DLC. If you pre-ordered the game then it flags the box with the +1 DLC :) Sorry for the confusion...

coldalarm: Yay *Kermit flail*

Edit: I'm also sorry for seeming to go a bit... weird over the OST issue. It's a bugbear I have, plus a sometimes short fuse.
No worries. And I love the term "kermit flail".

I'm not, and didn't think about finding a proxy at first, but in the meantime I've found one that's working. But your suggestion is appreciated nevertheless, thanks!
I wanted to buy this.

Then I noticed I already have it...

Huh. No more beer for me.

Ofc!
Would recommend checking out Proxmate if you don't know it. Works like a charm for us that has restrictions on Youtube. And there is no proxy hassles even if the name implies so. It is just a simple browser plugin to unblock Youtube.
Blackwell! Yay! (*grabs and runs away*)

Matruchus: Im not complaining but there really seems to be a flood of adventure games on gog for last half year now.
avatar
Niggles: It only seems like it -- someone made a post a while back and counted what games what categories and it had seemed back then it was quite balanced... and yes up to that point i had thought there were lots of adventures (and platformers for that matter).
Yes, it's a matter of impression. I'm an adventure and strategy fan, and I sometimes have the impression that most new games here are 2D platformers ^^

Yes im more biased being more or less just a strategy gamer :) And there were only 3 strategy games released in two months now - not counting omerta gold edition. I think the most released games were platformers and rpg. Probably mostly rpgs and since new rpgs look more or less like platformers people don't distinquish between them anymore.
For example blackwell series looks like a platformer to me :)
