Mirror mirror on the wall, darkest castle of them all!

The Black Mirror, an exclusive bonus content-packed edition of the dark murder-mystery adventure game with occult undertones, is available 20% off on GOG.com. That's only $7.99 for the first week.

Black Mirror Castle stands over ancient lands with secrets buried and best forgotten. The crumbling ruins breathe with a life of their own, haunted by the past and waiting to meet the present. Following the sudden death of his grandfather, Samuel Gordon returns to his estate after an absence of twelve years. While attempting to understand the reasons behind his grandfather’s death, he uncovers an ancient family secret. As Samuel learns the truth of the mysterious origins of the land and history of Black Mirror Castle, he comes face to face with madness, murder, and the true reflection of his soul.

The Black Mirror delivers a thrilling, original horror story featuring six different chapters and five hours of spoken dialogue. There's over 150 locations to explore as you seek to unravel the grim mysteries of Black Mirror Castle, solving puzzles and riddles in a dark, haunting atmosphere. On GOG.com the game comes packed with lots of exclusive digital bonus content, including an original soundtrack (MP3 only) and a special editon soundtrack in both high-quality MP3 as well as FLAC format.

If you're the one to seek out eerie tales of mysticism and murder playing out in old gothic castles, away from the lights of the world, make sure to pick up The Black Mirror, for only $7.99 on GOG.com. The 20% off special release discount lasts until Thursday, July 10, at 9:59AM GMT.
So.... Is Divinity: Original Sin going to be game number 2 today or is there another different release? ;)

GabiMoro: If you want Black Mirror 2 and 3 on GOG try contacting Jason Carver (hockeycanuck).

He is a volunteer moderator for Viva Media who got the rights for these 2 games (among others).

I don't know how much he can do but he sent me and many others Steam keys for Black Mirror 2 and 3 which I had bought on Indie Gala.

Kind of ninja'd by Fever_Discordia.
Kind of missed that ninja, so happy to follow the url

Impaler26: Looks like it's "Adventure Week" at GOG.com again... How surprising... :D
There can never be enough adventure games!!!
Let's hope for "Adventure Month".

PS: Nice release, BTW. Gotta get it some time later on.

Fever_Discordia posted the thread on Steam Forums where Jason Carver (hockeycanuck on GOG forums) gave Steam keys to people who bought elsewhere Black Mirror 2&3.

triock: Not really, ending in BM 3 is the worst from all games in this trilogy.
For me, the 1st game is the best.

Phaidox: That's so, so true. While BM3 nails the gloomy atmosphere the series is famous for, the plot is a trainwreck - it's scattered, aimless, veers dangerously close to cheesy territory and runs out of steam approximately halfway through. There's no mystery or suspense, which is the biggest offender.
But.. isn't that supposed to be the full story ending? And it's bad!?
Could I play only 1 and enjoy a decent game+conclusion?
Otherwise I think I'll skip this : (
One of my fav adventure games, thank you so much GOG for this, i love you all! :D

What a wonderful release to log in to, and with an abundance of extras too!! :D

Bravo to Nordic Games and GOG!! ^O^

With the hit my credit card took during the summer sale, I had to wishlist it at the moment, but will see if I can get the funds before the discounted period runs out.

Cheers!
Looks nice, never played this. I'll have to give my CC a rest though so.. later.

Of course, the 1st game wasn't planned as a part of trilogy, so it has fully contained story.

That's what I needed to know, thanks :)
Hot dang, instantly bought the moment I saw the home page. Glad to see this here, especially with that bounty of extras! Here's hoping the rest of the series makes it here as well, so that I can get replace of my non-GOG versions of those, just as I am doing with this one.
I remember this as a good game... But I played this in spanish and some puzzles was bad translated, so sooner or later you must use a guide or walkthrough
