FAButzke: http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2013/02/13/many-questions-system-shock-2-comes-to-gog/

"Kick: Bioshock was definitely more approachable for console gamers, and I think if they had made the game as challenging as System Shock it would have alienated that market. It’s difficult to keep everyone happy these days when the success of a game is determined by units sold or a Metacritic score. Ultimately, I hope that introducing SS2 to new gamers will inspire them to expect more from their gaming experiences."

There. All the problems with todays gaming industry in one sentence. Well said, Stephen Kick, well said.

Bottom line:
Idiots. Idiots everywhere.
My reaction to these pathetic humans

I never thought I'd see the day. Congratulations, GOG and Night Dive!
I don't know much about this game but bought it because of all the hype. Great job!
Meh.. I'll pass on this one, I guess. At least for now; I've somehow managed to buy Sensible Soccer at some point, so I'll probably buy this title too (oh, the number of times I've used that excuse..).

Regardless; I'm happy for those who've eagerly been waiting for this game, as well as for GOG - landing this deal will be a major boost, especially with all the media coverage this release is getting =)
Thanks Gog! IBought it - one of the best games of all times!
Really.
GOG.com is to PC gaming what Le Louvres is to historical art.
Please, continue your mission.
Oh crap, now loads of people with Shodan avatars will pop up.
So, who is NightDiveStudios? How did the rights end up there?

But not many will be as refined as yours.
That's an instant buy for me. I just wish modern developers would make more games like this. If GoG keep releasing them , and we keep buying them, maybe they will get the idea at some point. If not the big developers, maybe the up and coming small studios. And if they don't, guess I'll just keep buying the classics.

My thanks to GoG and all parties involved in bringing this classic back, I'm sure it was a damn hard job!
