keeveek: That's right, K-Snitch! :P
Better than the usual T people add to my nick ;)
GOG releasing Sturgeon Stimulator? Awesome, I always wanted to have a hand in helping the declining fish population.

serpantino: Steam is now releasing a lot of classics too and they even have some gog has yet to get. currently I'm holding out for gog to get them as I want my gog to be my go to for old games but at the rate they're going, they may just lose my business to steam which is my go to for modern and indie (I don't like things strewn about too many providers.)
So because you have decided to buy your indie games from Steam, you want to decline others the possibility to buy their indie games from GOG?

Yeah, I sometimes wonder when people complain about indie games on GOG, do they complain because they don't like indie games at all (ie. they don't buy them elsewhere either), or because they prefer to buy them somewhere else.

I personally am happy GOG is selling also indie games, because I prefer buying them here to buying them for Steam. At the same time, I don't feel it is my business to complain that Steam is selling also old games, just because I don't personally want to buy old games (either) on Steam.

Also, I personally don't make clear distinction between new, old and indie games. If you have any of such games on both Steam and GOG already, then your games are already strewn to many services. If you want your games exist only on Steam, then I presume you'd prefer buying also your old games there.

Premature release happens to all men, don't feel too bad about it.

RS1978: They declined Arcania and accept such a crap? I can't believe it, GOG...
Arcania is a totally decent action-RPG and the fact that they denied it is utterly stupid.

I'd have bought it.
So will this be a prelude to a shitload of simulators? Bus Simulator, Forklift Simulator, Farming Simulator, Ski Lift Simulator, Snowcat Simulator, Street Cleaning Simulator, Robot Vacuuming Simulator.

And some thought just indie games would be a threat for more classics here.

timppu: What? When did they do that?

RS1978: Posting from ThomNG

:(

Edit: I do really hope the responsable guys at GOG will change their mind, due Arcania is a rather enjoyable Action RPG with fantastic visuals.
Instead GOG keeps releasing some crappy indie games on the site :(

That's a little harsh as there are plenty of GOOD indie games here as well.

keeveek: I am so fucking confused why so many people cannot spell my nickname right.

It's freaking palindrome.
multiple same vowels seem to be difficult. Both my nick and real name have "enough" i's in them and its incredible how people can misspell both of them in so many creative ways. Typically the number of letters is right, but for reasons unknown to me - people seem to think they should convert one or more of those i's into l's .

"I" is not "l", how difficult that can be? :)

It's not a simulator like those, the name is rather a parody on them. This game was made by an indie team (part of a larger company, though) for a competition or something like that in 48 hours, and was later expanded upon. It seems rather funny.
Oh no, this is not a game for me.
ha ha ha, must try this - at least when I faint in this nobody will die this time :D

Is it bad that that excites me?

I mean that really excites me a lot.

Edit: Though it's still wtf that GOG turned down Arcania. I was kind of waiting for it here.

Does this release include the Team Fortress 2 mode?
