Beating back some balance into the world.

Sudeki, a vibrant anime-ish action-RPG with exciting real-time battles and a robust character development system, is available on GOG.com for only $5.99.

Sudeki, a world torn apart into light, shadow and dark. Rent asunder by deceit and betrayal, the land cries out for a peace that only four united heroes can bring. Beyond the protective walls of Illumina Castle lie miles of pastoral, rolling countryside, though once a serene landscape, the Aklorian forces have transformed the countryside into a charred battlefield. Simply passing through the region is unsafe, as travellers must be ever alert for ambushes. Four friends have joined together to aid their queen. Though destined to encounter ancient gods, primordial wonders, and marvellous inventions, foes and betrayal haunt their every step. A keen eye could prove vital, exposing essential clues. And as the companions make their way through darkness and light, they’ll discover that those two extremes have more in common than they once imagined… With real-time, bone-crunching combat with incredible spells and combos, the ability to control any one of the four champions at any time, and skip between them at will, and the power to customize each character's armor, weapons, and spells and evolve new powerful attacks, this colorful action-RPG title is a real blast to play!

When Europeans experiment with the anime aesthetics interesting things happen, and Sudeki is a perfect example of that rule. Check it out, for only $5.99 on GOG.com.

I remember playing it back in the day and thinking it was a bit bland and generic.
Wasn't excited to see it on Steam months ago and not that excited now, but I'll get it during a sale because I do love RPGs.

Well that answers my question, thank you. :D I can normally put up with bland and generic but not for a game that size. If I download that it's going to kill my bandwidth for the month which for some games is okay but not for "so so".

AdamR: The Steam version supports XP. This does not?
We had some issues on *some* Windows XP installs that occurred on random systems with XP and we couldn't solve them :(

Leroux: That cover, lol. Almost puts X-Blades to shame. :D

Anyway, why are there so few and so vague screenshots? Looks more like some generic screenshots offered by the publisher than some actual playthrough by a member of the GOG staff ... In any case, they don't give a good impression about actual gameplay. Well, at least the trailer offers a few seconds of gameplay footage, I guess. ;)
Screenshots fixed :) Should be 12 screens showing now :)

Oh gawd, not this one *cringe* It felt like a good idea to play this back in 2005. Big mistake. Horrible story, even worse characters, and for me at least pretty boring combat. Compared to this, DTU was a blessing.

Edit: Can we have the PC version of Grandia 2 instead? :p

But its almost ten years old!.
Thats kinda classic now isnt it, maybe not a good one, but still a bit old...darn, time flies fast....

Not really sure if i want this, if i remember correctly it was rather bad.
Westerners trying to make a JRPG.

Oh well, ill continue dreaming for more classics. If only those buisness cats holding the licenses could join GOG ;D.

That is just my opinion though, if you're interested you should probably watch some Youtube videos.
But personally I remember it being one of those products that was so obviously created to cater to certain audiences that in the end I found it to be a bit bland and boring.
A bit like what's been happening in the movie and television industry for years now where you can pretty much guess what everybody is going to say and/or do. Like for example when there is a streetracer that has never shown his face and you know that they want to introduce an 'exciting twist' so the racer is obviously going to be a girl.
But then again I am a bit of an ennui guy.
I am genuinely excited for this one. I played on Xbox back in the day and had a blast. Can't wait to try it again on pc. Thanks again GOG for a great classic release.

Fair enough but I do trust you.
Well, I trust everyone.
That's probably why I keep getting abducted by child molesters.
Another RPG, wohooooooo! Wishlisted xD

Yeah, sorry about that, for some odd reason I totally forgot to remove the placeholder screens BEFORE release :/

Well that'll probably stop in a couple of years, unless you're one of those baby faced people.
