Hadouken!

Street Fighter Alpha 2, one of the most successful 2D fighting games of all times, is now available on GOG.com for only $5.99!

Ryu, from Japan. Chun-Li, from China. Ken, from USA. Birdie, from England. Charlie, from USA. Adon, from Thailand. Rose, from Italy. Guy, from USA. Sagat, from Thailand. Bison, from Brasil. Sodom, from USA. Akuma, from Japan. Dan, from Hong Kong. Zangief, from USSR. Dhalsim, from India. Rolento, from USA. Gen, from China. Sakura, from Japan. Eighteen hardcore fighters, each with his or hers set of moves and fighting techniques, are ready for the incredible showdown, that is the Street Fighter championship.

In Street Fighter Alpha 2, many of the long time favorite characters--like Ryu, Chun-Li, and Zangief-- return to our screens. They're accompanied by a cast of newcomers, who have even more to prove. The game features beautiful, cartoony pixel-art graphics that guarantees a clear view of the fast-paced combat. A system of deadly custom combos has been introduced in place of the closed chain-combos, so you have even more control over your fighting style!

Stretch your fingers, put on your bandanna, and get ready for the ultimate fighting challenge in Street Fighter Alpha 2, for only $5.99!
I'm not too thrilled about CAPCOM catalog - but it is good to see another big player here. Bionic Commando, 1942, Cabal, Ghosts'n Goblins, Street Fighter....I'm sure I'll pick sth for me - so bring it on!

Heh, now I'm curious as to what this new deal includes. Resident Evil? Dino Crisis? Megaman? Lost Planet? DMC? Maybe even Onimusha 3? Oh, the possibilities. X_X

Barry_Woodward: Vote for Capcom games on the wishlist::

Breath Of Fire IV
It was released on PC?! ME WANTS!
What a surprise. I'm glad Capcom is finally on board. There are plenty of good PC games they have access to. I still have my Saturn version of Alpha 2. Anyone know how this version compares? I'm guessing it's not based on the arcade version.
I loved street fighter at the arcade!
I still have my SNES copy of this game :)

Fuzzyfireball: The voice acting better have been one of those things.
Didn't hear much about that. Heared the gameplay was good and the game was a lot of fun.

Bionic Commando Rearmed, as well - while a fairly recent release, I'd welcome this one with open arms.

The voice acting in the first Resident Evil is legendary for how wonderfully inept it is. It is so bad it's good, because it makes the game so incredibly quotable. IMO, it doesn't even distract from the game. It enhances the notion that you're playing a really cheesy B-horror plot. That's why I love RE. :D

morciu: So i'm guessing no online multiplayer... great looking game but i'm an old fart with no real physical friends who are willing to sit down and fight with me and laugh like little 12 year olds
Hehehehe that's funny!!! Cheer up - maybe someone someday will pay you a visit - like cousins or other relatives with kids and then you can have fun together. Anyway, I was never good with fighting games but I played quite a lot of them with friends or my brother, but the number one rule to have fun was to play with someone as slow as yourself, otherwise they were beating you in-game badly...
