Hadouken!

Street Fighter Alpha 2, one of the most successful 2D fighting games of all times, is now available on GOG.com for only $5.99!

Ryu, from Japan. Chun-Li, from China. Ken, from USA. Birdie, from England. Charlie, from USA. Adon, from Thailand. Rose, from Italy. Guy, from USA. Sagat, from Thailand. Bison, from Brasil. Sodom, from USA. Akuma, from Japan. Dan, from Hong Kong. Zangief, from USSR. Dhalsim, from India. Rolento, from USA. Gen, from China. Sakura, from Japan. Eighteen hardcore fighters, each with his or hers set of moves and fighting techniques, are ready for the incredible showdown, that is the Street Fighter championship.

In Street Fighter Alpha 2, many of the long time favorite characters--like Ryu, Chun-Li, and Zangief-- return to our screens. They're accompanied by a cast of newcomers, who have even more to prove. The game features beautiful, cartoony pixel-art graphics that guarantees a clear view of the fast-paced combat. A system of deadly custom combos has been introduced in place of the closed chain-combos, so you have even more control over your fighting style!

Stretch your fingers, put on your bandanna, and get ready for the ultimate fighting challenge in Street Fighter Alpha 2, for only $5.99!
What we could really use here is DMC 3 SE...

Those were good ports and some of the most amazing games ever made, they worked perfectly with keyboard, with RE4 franchise went down the toilet, but I would love to see first 3 games on GoG because they do not work on new hardware anymore.
And there are also many other Capcom games I would love to see here!

milan14: Wait, does this mean that we might see more Capcom franchises?
Resident Evil comes to mind...

haydenaurion: There are old PC versions of the RE series, though I don't know how good of ports they were. I'm hoping for those and the PC version Breath of Fire IV among others. I still can't believe Capcom just came to GOG out of the blue, i'm stunned...

Edit: Shame there doesn't appear to be a PC version of Street Fighter Alpha 3, that is my all time favorite SF game, but i'll gladly take 2 anyways.

I have Resident Evil 2 on PC. Pretty decent port though last time I tried to install it on a modern computer I had some issues
Wow, just wow.

What;s the consensus on the quality of the port?

I wondered if they did I good job porting those to PC, that's good to hear. Well then, let's all head to the wishlist and vote for them and pray Capcom will allow them on GOG. :)
Getting RE1 to work on athlon2000 and GF5200 10 years ago was a nightmare, I can only imagine situation today....

Perhaps GOG or fan patches can work some magic and get them working, I hope.
I'm really surprised that GOG didn't make a bigger deal out of Capcom joining up. I know some people have said that maybe it was because Capcom's PC library isn't that big, but heck, it's a lot bigger than Team17 (who pretty much has a few games and then about 15 variations of Worms) whom GOG made a huge deal about. Very strange, it makes me wonder if this isn't a full, complete deal. Maybe Capcom is only testing the waters and if they don't like the early results they won't move forward...
low rated
I was expecting a better publisher with better games . :(

Well , this isn't my type of game . Passing .

Did not see this coming at all

I think that's the most likely scenario.
