60 feet of metallic mayhem.

Slave Zero, a classic giant robot shooter action game set in the rioting streets of a futuristic mega-city full of mechanized enemies to smash, is available on GOG.com, for only $5.99.

Slave Zero happens 500 years in the future. Man and machine are virtually one, and the greatest megacity in the world is locked in a brutal war. Mammoth, bio-mechanical monsters tear at the sky, and the earth shakes with the full fury of a brutal battle. These are the warriors of the future, when war escalates to massive proportions, and immense power of destruction engulfs the streets. Harness the power, make a difference. Take control. Become Slave Zero! Control 60 feet of raw robotic power, make your way up the buildings that reach 7 miles into the sky, rampage through a city filled with hover cars, ground traffic, and screaming humans fleeing for their lives. Now, isn't that the most fun one can have at the helm of a titanic war machine?

If the one thing you look forward the most to in the future is the ability to control giant robots and lay havoc on the whole metropolis, you can have a taste of all the great things to come with Slave Zero, for only $5.99 on GOG.com.

Fantastic GOG!
Never got to play this one as a child, but it always looked awesome in gaming magazines.
So, it was Slave Zero after all, but how exactly did the jumper on MASTER hint to this release?
Where is Risen, it has slave masters!
Oh right I remember this.
Wasn't interested back then, not interested now.
Nice release though.

Jumper on master = 1, on slave = 0 :)

My guess would be that it was because the number of SLAVE drives was ZERO.

Because the jumper was on zero slaves? I dunno.

I had never heard of it until people started guessing it in the Enigmatic Hint thread. It looks like a blast!
Added to my wishlist.

I'm just getting ninja'd all day...

^ What he said ;-)

There were four HDD set to "master", and zero HDD set to "slave" ;-)
Not my cup of tea. Will we get another classic release in 2 days ?
Looks like an interesting game
Nice release. And with a FLAC soundtrack as well, always appreciated!
This was on Dreamcast right? Gotta love that period.
