We're ridin' dirty, we're ridin' dirty...

Screamer 4X4, a rugged off-road racing game where 4WD is king, is veering off the the well-traveled track and heading out into the wild for a clean $5.99 only on GOG.com!

YEEEHAAAAAW! We're finally going out where we can let our hair down and get dirty! There ain't nothing like driving in low gear with your differential locked as you try to bypass those dadgum trees on the second curve of what could be loosely termed as a racetrack. Shoot, son, this isn't another one of those "oh, he made ANOTHER left turn" racing games! You gotta get your hands dirty as you race through painstakingly modeled terrain and realistic 4WD (4 wheel drive for those not in the know) handling. Choose from a variety of racing modes--Free Drive, Championship, or Trophy--and play solo or against your friends in LAN multiplayer.

Get the hell off the tarmac and get your dirt on in Screamer 4X4, for only $5.99 now on GOG.com!

Grargar: Ouch. Let me be that guy; should we expect it to be removed after some years?
Frankly, I don't know :/

F4LL0UT: Very nice. There can't possibly be enough oldschool racing games on GOG. :)

Will it be bundled with other Screamer games in 'Screamer games on GOG.com:' box? :)
*sigh* That's very nice, but I'd like to see some games from the Request section to show up too. Mechwarrior, X-com, more old school adventure games... how are they coming along?
This game looks really interesting! Has anyone tested it out with an Xbox 360 controller?

But this game is on the wishlist, if that's what you mean by Request :)

Yeah, it works; you only have to configure the buttons ingame. Although it doesnt feel that precise and snappy like modern racing games do.

Does it run well on Windows 7?
Haha awesome. That hint was clever. Nice to see more racing games. I remember someone complaining the other day that GOG doesn't get enough of them.

No problems so far.

I think a gameplay video would be more useful.

Due to this one being published by a different publisher entirely, the chances of it being bundled in the series are rather slim :(

Is there an option to run the game in windowed mode?

I found this Screamer 4x4 gameplay video on YouTube.

Either way I just snagged the game so no worries from me
Nice to see new racing game being added to GOG. This site doesn't have enough of them!
I already own Screamer 4X4 on disc, it's pretty fun game.

I would love to see Screamer Rally here too. I own that on disc also, but it is so old game that I can't get it working and it has been over 10 years since I last time played that game.

Other racing games that I also own on CD but can't run on modern PC are TOCA Touring Car Championship and Destruction Derby 1 & 2.

Please keep adding racing games!

Agreed! There's always room for more racing games! It would be really cool if GOG could get the Destruction Derby series, the series, or even [url=http://www.gog.com/wishlist/games/soda_off_road_racing]SODA Off Road Racing!
