Grab a front seat--this is one wild ride you will never forget

Finally, the trilogy is complete: GOG.com brings Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 back to your PCs in a definitive digital bundled-with-extras DRM-free package with the Soaked! and Wild! add-ons, all for just $19.99.

Rollercoaster Tycoon 3: Platinum! is a construction and management simulator, in which the player runs an amusement park by building rides, managing finances, hiring staff, and keeping the “peeps” happy. The game features career mode, in which players complete predesigned scenarios, and new sandbox mode where you can literally spend days and weeks designing the greatest roller coaster PC monitors have ever witnessed. The game utilizes full 3D graphics; that not only means you can rotate the camera and zoom in/out on your guests and amusement rides, but also allows you to use the CoasterCam and cruise along with your thrill-ride visitors.

Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 is all the best from its genre--it’s beautiful to watch, accessible but challenging, enormously entertaining, and incredibly detailed when it comes to managing rides, buildings, salaries, prices, and fees. In addition to that, RCT3 packs a few new elements, like a day/night cycle, creating your own fireworks, adding your own mp3 music to the background, and creating your own groups of visitors. This is a tremendous addition to the series, especially since the Wild! and Soaked! add-ons are included.

Run the greatest amusement park in gaming history, available now on GOG.com for $19.99.
Holy Crap!!!!

Thanks GOG. I was just going to buy this retail last month. Good thing I waited. What an awesome surprise.

Yeah it does say that. At least it's cheaper than Steam and doesn't have any DRM.

EDIT: Holy bait and switch Batman it says $19.99 on the product page

And on the game's page, the price is $19.99?? I'm confused.
Is GOG classing this as an old game? If so does that mean they're going to be pushing out old games for more than $9.99?

As for the game itself.... it's not as good as RCT 1 or 2 and it feels a bit of a mix between that and Theme Park World. 3D doesn't really do it any favours as it makes things more cluttered and harder to manage and the interface is a little awkward, especially with all the expansion content. The game is better suited to younger players and more casual sim players.

Sorry but you're wrong... first place I look:
http://www.play.com/Games/PC/4-/13204342/Rollercoaster-Tycoon-3-Deluxe-Edition/Product.html

and second place:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Rollercoaster-Tycoon-Deluxe-Edition-PC/dp/B0031ESIZQ/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1335870937&sr=8-1

£4.89 & £4.89 respectively.

Used to own this game, but I lost the disk that it came with. Anyway, it's nOt quite as good as Rollercoaster Tycoon 1 & 2, but at this price, it's definitely worth your time and money.

EDIT: Oh, 19.99? Approach with caution.

BZZZZZZZZZZZZZT! sorry those would be the deluxe edition not the platinum edition it contains only 1 of the 2 expansions
It's gone from the front page. They either released it prematurely, or they're trying to sort out the pricing issue.

EDIT: now it seems that $19.99 is the standard price.

Try reading the description or looking at the case image. It has both expansions, it's the same content wise :). I should know I own it.

One of them is a typo, the question is which one. I hope very much that it's only supposed to be $14.99, although it really ought to be $9.99 as it is an old game.
RTC 3 launched at the wrong price. It's supposed to be $19.99, not $14.99. We're in the process of updating the main page spot for this as well.

My apologies about this. With everyone on holiday today in Poland and out of the office, this launch is not going off as smoothly as we would have liked.
