Post-nuclear gangland.

Redline, an insane classic post-apocalyptic action game combining first-person shooter and off-road driving game is available on GOG.com for only $5.99.

It's 2066 and the world is a different place. While the privileged insiders live in fertile domed cities, the rest of us fight for survival in the wastelands. Rival gangs battle for supremacy, turf control and valuable resources. In order for a young man to succeed he must make the right choices about his future. That's why you want to join the Company. It's on you, rookie. We think you've got the skills, but do you have the guts to go up against the worst maniacs from the Lepers, the Templars, and the Red Sixers gangs? We'll give you a piece, a rig, and let you try to prove yourself. No guarantees, but if you pull this off you might have what it takes to be one of us…

Redline challenges you to take on 12 insane missions in your quest to become gang warlord. Prove your skills in the arenas, eliminate rival gang members, and destroy all who oppose you. It features both vehicular and on-foot combat--jump in and out of heavily armed cars, trucks, vans, motorcycles, and turrets anytime during gameplay. Blast rival gangs with over 40 unique weapons, car jack your opponents' ride or climb up to a stationary cannon to blow away unsuspecting punks. On GOG.com, the game comes with a full soundtrack in both high-quality MP3 and FLAC format.

The future might look grim and brutal, but there's no reason not to have fun while besting its many dangers in Redline, for only $5.99 on GOG.com.

Fever_Discordia: Yeah, this one looks pretty interesting - wishlisted!

Can I ask how the driving feels though? Does it feel properly analogue? can you juggle keyboard/mouse for on foot with your joypad for driving GTA style or does it have dodgy mouse steering like the driving parts in Enter The Matrix?
Cheers

tinyE: Good question. It looks like it might have a Total Overdose feel to it, which I thought handled great so maybe I'm in luck here.
Your right. It does have that look about it....
Nice Release! I never heard of Redline but it looks like a game i might enjoy. Wishlisted.
Oh, please GOG, don't release NAM, it's total trash.

damien: Amazing, amazing release! Now time to bring NAM and maybe Across the Rhine!
Across the Rhine, PAW and Task Force 1942 would all be welcome, I agree. But I do hope you don't mean that NAM that's based on the Build engine, that was an abomination.
I remember this game. It looked ugly and too corny even back in the day, but got me hooked rather quickly with its diverse gameplay. Its most important asset is that it's simply FUN.
This is why I came to GOG, old and slightly obscure games.
I actually did play this a bit back in the day and wasn't too impressed, but I'm definitely picking this up during a sale.
Never heard of it but looks really interesting. Wishlisted!!
FUCK YES! Now GOG, PLEASE add ERADICATOR to your catalog! PLEASE!
It's the third time I was right about the enigmatic hint! Ha!
Oh, it's that game, where you fly on an electric saw.
Where the hell was this game in my life all these years?
Awesome, I could barely play it back in 99 becuase my shitpc. Now it´s time to finally enjoy it : D!
Awesome release!

And whoa, there are a lot of new Mac compatible games, like the D&D games!
Anyone care to do a little review of this game for those who havent got a clue about it?
This seems like a very cool game. Any mods for it? My search keeps turning up something called Redline Racing, lol.
