Trouble? Just go with the flow!

Puddle, a challenging puzzler based on the physics of fluids featuring a multitude of cleverly designed levels, a relaxing soundtrack, and colorful graphics, is now available on GOG.com for only $7.99. That's 20% off the regular price!

Archimedes of Syracuse (c. 287 BC – c. 212 BC) was a Greek mathematician, physicist, engineer, inventor, and astronomer. Even though he's considered to be one of history's greatest mathematicians, during his lifetime, he was mainly recognised as an inventor. His scientific legacy received the due respect and fame seven centuries later and remained a large influence even for the great minds of the Renaissance. Anecdotally, his greatest discovery happened in a bathtub, and resulted in the great scientist running down the streets of Syracuse wet and naked, exclaiming the Greek word "Eureka!"--I have found!. What he has found, was the existence of a force by which an immersed object is buoyed up, and which is equal to the weight of the fluid the object actually displaces. This observation--now known as Archimedes' principle--became a foundation of hydrostatics: the science of fluid physics. Hydrostatics, in turn, became the foundation of Puddle.

Puddle is an original and intriguing title that will have you twisting the game world to redirect the flow of various liquids and solve many logical challenges. In case you’re wondering: no, you won't be only playing with water. There are other liquids to toy with in Puddle. Imagine trying to get a gallon of explosive nitroglycerin across a deviously designed level, full of steep slopes, sudden drops, and unexpected dead ends. Oh yes, you'll be sweating from your brow. But that's OK. That's fluid too.

Make Archimedes proud and let the fluids flawlessly flow through the many challenging stages of the Puddle, for only $7.99!
Now that's an interesting premise.
It's like Vessel and World of Goo made a baby!

I wouldn't call Neko Entertainment "indie," unless I'm badly understanding the term. They do appear to be crap. Why are you making deals with these people, GOG? More to the point, why are you using this game as one of your "announcement" games that people are supposed to be excited about?

edit: This game does have a decent Metacritic score, so maybe I'm being unfair, but I can't help it. "By the makers of Bratz Ponyz 2!"

Because it's a wonderful puzzler that deserves your attention, that's why. :-) We're not the only ones to appreciate it uniqueness and level of challenge, anyway. It got its share of good reviews before coming to PC.

Frog racing you say? What's that has to do with anything? :-)

The free download you link to is a 10 minute demo.
How do the controls work? Just two buttons to tilt the screen? This is not really my cup of tea, but I must say the graphical variety looks pretty nice.

Hi,
I'm one of the developer of Puddle. I want to clarify a few things about Puddle. This is not because it is developed by Neko that it is by the creators of Bratz Pony 2. Neko is a small developper. Initially this game was developed by 6 students including myself and was one of the student showcase winners a the IGF 2010.
The PC version is a port of the XBLA and PSN versions developed by the original team. We have put into the game all our love for gamer games. And I hope it will please GOG users.
Actually ther is a free version of the game, it's the 10 minutes demo we developed at school, now the game is really better I think. More levels, more puzzle, better physics, better graphics....
For those who asked for the 5 extra bucks from the google play version. On PC you have a better framerate, you have videos to explain the story, better sounds and better graphics.
For those who say Puddle is not indie, I would like to know what they call indie? Is it a game by Klei Entertainment and published by EA or Microsoft? (I have nothing agains them, I love their games)
I think being indie is more a way of seeing the game indistustry, an industry led by huge blockbuster. We just wanted to make our project, at our scale in a small structure.
And foremost to the players.
I hope you like puddle.

P.S. Sorry for my bad english
