A game with eight legs to stand on!

Octodad: Dadliest Catch, a heart-touching story of a Nautical-American struggling to be the best parent and husband dry land has ever seen while keeping his true nature from his loved ones, is available 20% off on GOG.com. That's only $11.99 for the first week.

Octodad: Dadliest Catch is about destruction, deception, and fatherhood. The player controls Octodad, a dapper octopus masquerading as a human, as he goes about daily life. Octodad's existence is a constant struggle, as he must master mundane tasks with his unwieldy boneless tentacles while simultaneously keeping his cephalopodan nature a secret from his human family. In this original, imaginative indie title, you'll be challenged to live through a full day in Octodad's life, and even venture outside the house. There's tons of physics toys to play with. Jointed objects, springs, slippery surfaces, and more! Combine that with visual style inspired by the American 1950's aesthetic (but with futuristic twists), and what you get is an appealing bundle of slapstick fun you will never forget.

Wrap oll of your available arms around Octodad: Dadliest Catch on GOG.com, for only $11.99. The 20% off release discount offer lasts until Thursday, February 6, at 5:59PM GMT.
Well, looks to be in the same vein as Surgeon Simulator.

Definitely glad we got SiN today.
game of the century
Okay looking at those screen shots this game should go in horror survival. :P That dude has "Pyramid Head" beat by a mile on the creepy scale.

Woah, wait. This is nothing like Surgeon Simulator. Sure, it may not be easy to control, but Surgon Simulator was hard to control for 'no reason', whereas there's a clear and obvious reason why Octodad might have a hard time standing.

Judging by your avatar, I thought that game would be right up your alley :P.

And for those who think this is important - Humble sell it now for the same price (-20% and in $), it is DRM free, but they also have a native Linux version.

So you have the choice. On one hand you get the game DRM free + Linux + Steam key, on the other you get the game DRM free + avatars.... I know which one I am going to get. (and the dev get 75% instead of 70%)

Nice! I enjoyed the original free game a lot, it was hilarious and pretty darn unique. Hope this one's even better.

As much as I value freedom of speech... Advertizing another retailer in a release thread, even if he does offer a better deal, is not all that cool you know.

it is an hint that gog do need to get a move on to keep up with the competition. even though some may not think so. I like gog, but they do need to step up a bit.
Now that's something I did not see coming.

They know. They're probably watching competition more than you do. I'd get it from HB if I was interested in this particular title. Regardless, a release thread man!

Magnitus: The game looks cool from the preview video, but something nags me.

Probably pointless to debate this in a imaginary world where an octopus has human-like intellect, can survive outside a body of water, mate with a human and produce viable offsprings, but... how come his kids look 100% human?
What kind of silly question is that? They look 100% human because they ARE 100% human.

Oh, you were wondering HOW they got to BE 100% human, I see. I think that is best left to your imagination. Or rather not thought about at all. Eww.
Yes! So glad this came out here.
