A game with eight legs to stand on!

Octodad: Dadliest Catch, a heart-touching story of a Nautical-American struggling to be the best parent and husband dry land has ever seen while keeping his true nature from his loved ones, is available 20% off on GOG.com. That's only $11.99 for the first week.

Octodad: Dadliest Catch is about destruction, deception, and fatherhood. The player controls Octodad, a dapper octopus masquerading as a human, as he goes about daily life. Octodad's existence is a constant struggle, as he must master mundane tasks with his unwieldy boneless tentacles while simultaneously keeping his cephalopodan nature a secret from his human family. In this original, imaginative indie title, you'll be challenged to live through a full day in Octodad's life, and even venture outside the house. There's tons of physics toys to play with. Jointed objects, springs, slippery surfaces, and more! Combine that with visual style inspired by the American 1950's aesthetic (but with futuristic twists), and what you get is an appealing bundle of slapstick fun you will never forget.

Wrap oll of your available arms around Octodad: Dadliest Catch on GOG.com, for only $11.99. The 20% off release discount offer lasts until Thursday, February 6, at 5:59PM GMT.

JudasIscariot:
Why is there not a GOG plays web series?
Will definitely buy this. It's worlds cheaper than buying it on Steam in euro's.
Yay for DRM-Free of course.

Does anybody know if this comes with thee level editor? I know workshop is Steam exclusive, but is the editor itself part of the game?

AmarKing: By the way, are there any plans to bring the original Octodad to the catalogue too? It would be great if that happened : )

HiPhish: it's free anyway, so you can play it as soon as you want:

Thanks for telling me : D, even though I already know it's freeware. My problem is that I do not know the websites the official download page links to, so I am not really sure if it's completely safe to download the game from them.

Besides that, wouldn't it be convenient to have both games here? : )
"Octodad...
Nobody suspects a thing."

It should be safe, the game never asks for your admin password or anything like that, at least on OS X, so it can't do any damage. In fact, no game should ever ask for your admin password.

Like said, there's a possibility that it will be added with the next update (see here).

And if that fail, you can always download Octodad directly from the developers here:

(maybe they can at least put the link in the extras?)

Nah, as it was a party and most of us act like Octodad when it comes to making videos :P

Barry_Woodward: The freeware original should be added to the bonus content of this game.
You've likely seen it, but ... Octodad now features the freeware version (PC + MAC).
