God damn it! I waited and waited and finally cracked and bought it on Steam during the sale, as I though it would never arrive here on GOG. Well, I completed the game already, but be certain that I will buy it at one point in the future.

Not very long ago someone mentioned this here on the forum as a very good game. As far as I know the developer is working/planing the follower. Last but not least another multilingual release, which is great ;-) Good release!

me neither.

no matter what game you're looking at, there's bound to be somebody claiming it's the best game ever. usually it's far from the truth.

i bought Sins of a Solar Empire: Trinity and Galactic Civilizations 2 during the Steam Summer Sale. i think i'm set as far as space 4x games are concerned.

Nope. Never heard of it either :)

I don't like space games, so it's not for me, but I know a lot of people on GOG do, so it will probably do well.

It's a good one. Not a phenomenal one. It has pretty stupid dialogues (during an assaullt : "when we'll be done with that space station, its own mother won't recognise it"), but it's very much focused on fleets of capital ships with various subsystems management, which is a change from most spact RTSes.

Still, one prequisite to apprectate it, is to not compare it with Homeworld, or not to play it too close to a Homeworld session. Homeworld has set the bar so high that it's unfair for all other space games..
