Mask of the Betrayer, Storm of Zehir, and Mysteries of Westgate expansions included!

Neverwinter Nights 2: Complete, the ultimate edition of Obsidian's RPG set in the all time favorite Dungeons & Dragons setting, the Forgotten Realms, is now available 25% off on GOG.com. That's $14.99, this week only.

Ah, Forgotten Realms, after all the days we've spent treading your paths, you seem like home. Whenever the world around us seems oppressive and dark, whenever life gets us down--our mind escapes to your green fields, your rocky mountains, your lush forests. We cherish the memories of our bold ventures into your deep undergrounds, filled with dangerous beasts and traps, yet luring us with promise of great riches and unsurpassed power. We still tremble at the thought of the vengeful gods and goddesses that toy with the fates of your inhabitants, and the perplexing magic that fills you to the brim. We fondly remember the long evenings spent in the warmth and security of your many taverns and inns, where a single conversation could usher us into a new quest. Now comes the time to visit you once more.

Neverwinter Nights 2: Complete revisits many of the iconic locations known from previous D&D computer RPGs, and adds even more--all in a beautifully rendered environment. The game has been praised for faithfully executing the D&D 3.5 ruleset, delivering a captivating story and vivid characters, and vastly improving the visuals in comparison to its predecessor. With four full campaigns and adventure sets to embark upon, a set of tools to create your own adventures, and fully patched and ready to go, this is the version you just can't afford to miss!

Can you hear it now? Can you hear the rattling of D20 dice rolling? That's the sound of adventure! Tag along, get Neverwinter Nights 2: Complete, for only $14.99 until Thursday, January 31, at 10:59AM GMT.

Kadlin: Neverwinter Nights 2 was already DRM free. GOG just keeps releasing games already DRM free, but this is a good way to get it, and at a cheap price, so that's cool.

Nergal01: Hmm, I was wondering about this. The DRM for the original game and the two expansions was patched out, but what about MoW? Could this be the first time it's been released without any DRM?
Don't know about the releases in other stores, but I'm quite sure the original game from Ossian still had the activation requirement.

Yep, that's what I was getting at. I have no idea whether the same DRM scheme was used for the NWN Complete pack that's been available online and on-disc for some time. That kept me from buying those. Good thing I've waited until now.
Are Storm of Zehir and Mysteries of Westgate worth 15 bucks? I already have original + Mask retail (and DRM free with their latest patch applied). Both of those expacs got poor to mediocre reviews but I'd rather hear from this crowd.
Awesome :D I haven't played the first game yet but pretty sure I will end up buying this

gog my wallet is starting to hate you
I already own Neverwinter Nights 2: Platinum Edition on Steam? What is the difference between the two besides being DRM free? Need a carrot if I am going to purchase this version as well.

Kadlin: For some reason people always talked bad about Neverwinter Nights 2. I thought it was a great game, way better than the first, and way better than nearly every single new RPG that's come out in the last years. Maybe I'm just more into computer RPG's than console ones.
I think that's mostly due to NWN2 being a resource hog and maybe also to initial bugs that might have been fixed. Also because of disappointed expectations for a successor to NWN, from a builder's perspective. NWN and NWN2 are incompatible, and NWN2 is much harder to build with. And while several gameplay aspects of NWN2 are superior to NWN (party control, inventory sorting feature), others could be considered worse, depending on your preferences (camera control, tiny inventory display).

TheEnigmaticT: This game, I would note, lets you determine the utter uselessness of a bard as a player class. We head-faked you.
I fell for it too easily. Well played :D.

Nice release. Wishlisted; I have so many new games now, I need to play them first.

MoW developers got rid of DRM after fan complaints (there were only three activations). I didn´t know that first two datadisks were patched-out.

tinyE: How does this stack up with NWN 1? Are the specs a bitch for an older computer (can run most games up to through 2007 depending on size and settings)?
The single-core Pentium IV in my 2005 Dell can run it fine. The Aurora engine is horrible and it may well feel kind of sluggish, but it's the engine itself at fault. It wasn't smooth-as-silk great on systems that were bleeding edge at the time of release. If your machine runs the first Witcher, it should run NW2.

Awesome. I already have it, but it's great to see this here all the same.
Want this sooooooooo bad, but spent too much on Steam sales lately. Will get it when I can. Way to go GOG!

I am super Obsidian fanboy man.

We should form a club and reminisce about Alpha Protocol!

It was made DRM free by a patch, you can buy it anywhere.

I see. Then i shall have to check Gamersgate for it. Although it'd be nice to have a single already patched version like GOG does. An OCD thing...
