Smannesman: What is that? Like 25% or something?

Zoidberg: 3.10€ for 14.99, closer to 20%.
It's (almost) the same price you'd get from buying directly from the devs (base price+VAT). Hardly a ripoff.

Its actually cheaper on gog since full price on the developers site is higher then on gog even with the 10% discount they have going there. The developers have implemented full regional pricing in their store. So gog is cheaper cause of the fair price package of course.

BillyMaysFan59: Been on my wishlist since the pre-order showed up. I'll buy this one when it's on sale later.
Ditto.
Another regional priced release... No thanks!

Do they send the vat to my country? If not then this is no valid argument...

Not fair to gog, so not fair. I'm avoiding those, and sales have been lost due to that...

You didn't miss much eitherway going from the game reviews on gog and steam it seems that both stores have released something like an early access version of the dlc which is now reaching about 50% of not working games and it is heavily bugged. Not a good release at all till it gets heavily patched up. I expect tons of people going for a refund option on gog. The issues range from non responsive AI, countless buggs and very common game crashes by what people are reporting on the net.

The base game is fine since its made by original developers. This dlc is basically a community mod called Brytenwalda redesigned in to a dlc.

Well you can check gog reviews and steam reviews - they are very bad. I don't know what they did with the mod since that one was fine.
There are countless bugs in the game that produce crashes and that is the biggest issue and also a lot of people report very bad lagg even on high setting pcs. This steam thread has only a few crashes for now since its brand new but it can show you what the picture is: http://steamcommunity.com/app/48700/discussions/0/619573787365483724/

The best way to describe this release is that its Total War: Rome 2 release allover again.

I look forward to this once the patches start coming out, it looks really impressive.
Lol, the reviews are unique.
One of the reasons why I more or less never buy new games is that they are always full of bugs.
The people paying the big amount are always the ones having most big troubles with game breaking bugs, great reward!

I don't even care for the regional pricing for this one, because it is such a joke in every way.

This almost screamed "Insta-buy!" to me, but then I read some of the reviews, here and on Steam. Damn. Looks like a great setting, but I don't want something that's going to play like crap. Guess it'll have to wait. Sigh.

And people will defend it so, kinda like Fallout New Vegas and Fallout 3 post 1.4 patch
