Are you hurt? Because you apparently just fell from the sky. Um, my place or your's, angel?

Leisure Suit Larry's Greatest Hits and Misses!, a collection of six adventures that will have you looking for love (in all the wrong places), is available on GOG.com, for only $9.99.

Hey, who is a babe like you doing in a place like this? The correct answer is Larry, by the way. Larry Laffer. Aroused to meet you. I have to confess something: I lost my virginity. Can I have yours? You know, I'm a man, you're a woman--just do the math. By the way, those are very nice legs. What time do they open? Seriously, I'm not Fred Flintstone, but I can make your bed rock. Oh, come on! I'm doing you a favor. I know people who know people who could get you in touch with people who can get you into the movie industry. That's right babe, daddy can make you a star! So, where are we going, your place? What do you mean "stop following you"? This wouldn't be much of a date if I did. What are you talking about, what restraining order? Oh yeah, like that could ever get in the way of true love! You're breaking my heart. Seriously, I will never recover from such loss. Damn. Another one gone. And she was like a solid five. Maybe even a slightly outdated six. Oh, hi! Who is a babe like you doing in a place like this?

Leisure Suit Larry's Greatest Hits and Misses! is your first exclusive chance to play the long lost Leisure Suit Larry 4: The Lost Floppies! Not. Just kidding, the infamous floppies are still missing, and the fourth game of the series remains Al Lowe's sweet mystery. The package, however, includes the following classic adventure games from the chronicles of the wannabe notorious womanizer, Larry Laffer:
-Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizards (both the original and the VGA version!)
-Leisure Suit Larry Goes Looking For Love (In Several Wrong Places)
-Leisure Suit Larry III: Passionate Patti in Pursuit of the Pulsating Pectorals!
-Leisure Suit Larry 5: Passionate Patti Does a Little Undercover Work!
-Leisure Suit Larry 6: Shape Up Or Slip Out
But that's not all. From GOG.com, the company that likes it cheap and unprotected, you would expect something extra, now wouldn't you? Especially with our milestone 500th release. Something that would make you blush (with excitement). That's why, with the Larry games' collection we give you its spiritual (if that word is even remotely appropriate here) predecessor:
-Softporn Adventure

Are you ready for the ultimate conquest? Don't forget to use your breath spray to feel fresh, minty, and attractive as you take part in Leisure Suit Larry's Greatest Hits and Misses!, for only $9.99.

Foxhack: Remember: Buy this game now, download it, keep it backed up. Because Codemasters loooooooooooooooooooooooooves to let contracts expire and this will be pulled eventually. :P
That's pretty much the first thing I thought when I looked at the gamecard. Frankly, I'm surprised GOG even bothered since Codemasters have been pissing on their licenses left and right. Not to mention, it's also the first new 'Codemasters' game to be added to the catalog in a good long while. I wouldn't be surprised if this was the only other game we'd ever get from them.

JaqFrost: I lost 3 points for admitting I don't like toilet humor. LOL

Gazoinks: You monster.
I'm evidently peeing on someone's parade. =P

Celton88: Not very excited about this. Anything that has a title that includes Soft Porn, isn't for me, but whatever
Instead of this Soft Porn crap, they should have included the much better SVGA version of Larry 6. The VGA version is rather useless if you know the better one... :(

rodrolliv: I don't usually care about the reputation thing but, seriously people, what's with the downrepping in this thread? So a person thinks these games are not interesting and dares say something against them and how disappointing it is for a #500, that's a reason to downrep? Jeez. Feel free to click the minus in this commentary then, cause I have no intention of getting these games either.

I'm a fan of seeing all kinds of old games here, and obviously these are highly appreciated by many people, which is why the release excited me. People do use downrepping a bit too often though, in my opinion, even though I'm pretty much the exact opposite regarding bloodygoodgames' feelings.
Insta-buy!

Thanks Gog. Love for Sail soon please.

I hope this means Larry Reloaded is "coming" to Gog (with a key for the kickstarter backers...)
Always nice to see more Sierra adventures here, keep them comming GOG ;)

1: It's a text game.
2: IT'S A TEXT GAME.
3: THERE ARE NO GRAPHICS IT'S JUST A TEXT GAME.

Sheesh!
I would like to buy one of those shirts, so funny.
No SVGA LSL6?
Nice one. LSL doesn't hold much appeal for me personally (lechery, even in jest, was never really my thing :p), but I know that they're important nostalgia items for a lot of my friends. I'm happy whenever GOG is making someone happy, even when it isn't me.

(And with the complete Avernum collection released earlier this week, I can hardly complain that I haven't been catered to.)

grviper: No SVGA LSL6?
Apparently not.

I'm going to send a message to GOG about this.

Oh, I don't begrudge anyone their excitement. I did tell another person up-thread that sooner or later there will be a release that excites us -- I like that about GOG, you never know what's around the next corner. As for the downrepping, c'est la vie. I've gone -4 today, so I must have offended a chunk of people.

Bloodygoodgames: I hated the games :)

F4LL0UT: Just out of curiosity: why? I can think of many reasons. Actually I thought that no female gamer could like these games until I learned that my cousin, a very intelligent and educated girl by the way, loved the games. So I'm wondering whether it's because you consider the games sexist or something or whether you just dislike the silly premise or the toilet humor.
Actually yes, one of the most intelligent and beautiful woman I've ever met, and a militant feminist, is a huge fan of Larry Laffer and occasionally refers to these games out of the blue, which always amuses me.

I for one am quite indifferent. I had enjoyed the 1st as a kid, because it was a bit weird and different, and I had liked the 2nd because... well, because it was not different at all (it's a standard adventure game). And got bored somewhere middle in the 3rd. But they now all benefit from the aura of reminding me of that friend...

Yeah, but don't forget about the cover showing a naked Roberta Williams with two other women (and a male waiter <.<) in a whirlpool. ;P
