Are you hurt? Because you apparently just fell from the sky. Um, my place or your's, angel?

Leisure Suit Larry's Greatest Hits and Misses!, a collection of six adventures that will have you looking for love (in all the wrong places), is available on GOG.com, for only $9.99.

Hey, who is a babe like you doing in a place like this? The correct answer is Larry, by the way. Larry Laffer. Aroused to meet you. I have to confess something: I lost my virginity. Can I have yours? You know, I'm a man, you're a woman--just do the math. By the way, those are very nice legs. What time do they open? Seriously, I'm not Fred Flintstone, but I can make your bed rock. Oh, come on! I'm doing you a favor. I know people who know people who could get you in touch with people who can get you into the movie industry. That's right babe, daddy can make you a star! So, where are we going, your place? What do you mean "stop following you"? This wouldn't be much of a date if I did. What are you talking about, what restraining order? Oh yeah, like that could ever get in the way of true love! You're breaking my heart. Seriously, I will never recover from such loss. Damn. Another one gone. And she was like a solid five. Maybe even a slightly outdated six. Oh, hi! Who is a babe like you doing in a place like this?

Leisure Suit Larry's Greatest Hits and Misses! is your first exclusive chance to play the long lost Leisure Suit Larry 4: The Lost Floppies! Not. Just kidding, the infamous floppies are still missing, and the fourth game of the series remains Al Lowe's sweet mystery. The package, however, includes the following classic adventure games from the chronicles of the wannabe notorious womanizer, Larry Laffer:
-Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizards (both the original and the VGA version!)
-Leisure Suit Larry Goes Looking For Love (In Several Wrong Places)
-Leisure Suit Larry III: Passionate Patti in Pursuit of the Pulsating Pectorals!
-Leisure Suit Larry 5: Passionate Patti Does a Little Undercover Work!
-Leisure Suit Larry 6: Shape Up Or Slip Out
But that's not all. From GOG.com, the company that likes it cheap and unprotected, you would expect something extra, now wouldn't you? Especially with our milestone 500th release. Something that would make you blush (with excitement). That's why, with the Larry games' collection we give you its spiritual (if that word is even remotely appropriate here) predecessor:
-Softporn Adventure

Are you ready for the ultimate conquest? Don't forget to use your breath spray to feel fresh, minty, and attractive as you take part in Leisure Suit Larry's Greatest Hits and Misses!, for only $9.99.

kalirion: Do other old GOGs still have the "manual search" copy protections? Lands of Lore for instance?

grviper: Manual lookup is never removed in gog releases.
Well, It was at least in The Incredible machine, because you may click on anything on the screen, and the game will start anyway.
Please, bring Larry 7 ASAP. I own my original CD, and it still works on my PC running Vista, because I found a patch which makes the game compatible with XP). However, this is the Polish version, which was released few years after the original. In Poland, the English version was very hard or impossible to purchase. Please GOG, I want to play Larry 7 in English!
Remember: Buy this game now, download it, keep it backed up. Because Codemasters loooooooooooooooooooooooooves to let contracts expire and this will be pulled eventually. :P
I should have seen that coming.

Awesome way to bring it back.

Forget about this one, by the way. These are really really really old programs and may not work on modern systems or OSes.
Not personally interesting for me, but good classic release.
BRA-F&CKING-VO GOG!
BRA-F&CKING-VO GOG!
BRA-F&CKING-VO GOG!

:D Some Great Old Games!

EDIT: Ooph, not seeing 7 in here is a little disappointing. Personally I wish GOG had done with, like, bundled the first 4 for six dollars and then had the other 3 for six dollars too.

HOWEVER, if the next bundle comes with more than just LSL7 (even if it's the "crap" of MCL and BOB), I would consider that a good deal for 10 dollars. I know that sounds ungrateful, and I am blown away by GOG's release today, but having so a fantastic deal for 10 dollars and then just having one game for 6 dollars just doesn't seem right to me.

Bought the game, and noticed something strange in Larry 6. It looks like some sort of combination between the two versions of the game (with and w/o the voice acting). Voice acting is present, but the interface is like in the old version (score is on the bottom instead on top). I have an English vesion of Larry 6 on a CD with different interface. You can see this version here:

DukeNukemForever: About Age-Verification: There are shortcuts to get through them, something like ctrl+x (not exactly sure). Because this combination is used already in scummvm it's something like alt+x or alt+shift+x. There is also someting similar for LSL2 and later releases.

About the sexism-debate. The only idiot in the game is male (Larry) and in most cases the females are shown as the smart who trick him. I believe something like that said Al in his interview with Matt Barton and I have to agree here. So yes, the humour is sometimes "special", but the games itself are not really offensive.
And, you know, there's always the option of not buying them. :-P
I will pick up when I get next paycheck! I already have LSL 1-7 on CDROM including the Talkie and non Talkie for LSL6. I don't have the original LSL 1 though. I can't wait to get my GOG copy. I am glad Codemasters allowed GOG to sell the older games. Also buy Torin's Passage on GOG as well. Torin's Passage is another great game by Al Lowe. I also own the Offical Leisure Suit Larry Book.

If you missed the news, LSL Reloaded was accepted on Steam Green light yesterday. It will now officially be released on Steam.
Not very excited about this. Anything that has a title that includes Soft Porn, isn't for me, but whatever

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwww :<

BTW, thanks for the tip, I'll keep it backed up somewhere safe.
I'm happy for those folks who were looking forward to this, but I just can't get terribly excited about it. I played two games out of that series a long time ago during my adolescent years, and even then I didn't find them particularly fun. Different strokes for different folks. *shrug*

rodrolliv: I don't usually care about the reputation thing but, seriously people, what's with the downrepping in this thread? So a person thinks these games are not interesting and dares say something against them and how disappointing it is for a #500, that's a reason to downrep? Jeez. Feel free to click the minus in this commentary then, cause I have no intention of getting these games either.
I lost 3 points for admitting I don't like toilet humor. LOL
