Featuring the Fearsome Fangs of Fury!

Legacy of Kain: Blood Omen 2, the action-adventure game following the exploits of the blood-hungry anti-hero Kain, is now available on GOG.com for only $5.99.

Kain, the Vampire Overlord had it all. He had the gruesome glamour, the sinister swag, the mighty magical blade called the Soul Reaver, and an army of obedient minions ready to storm the fortified gates of the great city Meridian. The world of Nosgoth was his blood-filled oyster. But then the Serafan Order had to show up with their fancy glyph magic and it all just went to hell. Well, not literally, because when Nosgoth is your home hell seems like a holiday resort, but still--the power and glory days came to a sudden and unexpected end for our blood-sucking anti-hero. Now, after a 200-year slumber, he wakes up to a twisted world where his brethren are treated like scum. And to make things worse the power of the Soul Reaver is now in the treacherous hands of the Serafan Lord. Take it back and make make sure that the city of Meridian once again finds its respect for the vampire kind.

Legacy of Kain: Blood Omen 2 is a third person perspective action game with many lavish locations to explore, legions of fearsome foes and bewildering bosses to slay, and a pile of puzzles to challenge your wits. The Games action-oriented 3D gameplay is more in the lines of the series' future installments, like Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver, rather than its 2D predecessor.

Get your gruesome groove back and paint Meridian red in Legacy of Kain: Blood Omen 2, for only $5.99!
We're almost there with anthology! Thanks GOG :)
Next stop Legacy of Kain: Blood Omen? ;)
Where is the first game GOG? Where is the first game?!
Nice.
Yessssss... now we're only missing 1 and I'll drop all my savings on the Big LoK Anthology. :D
Cool. We're almost there. :)
Great, almost there.
I do recommend Blood Omen 2. It is different from the games in the LOK series.

I so hope Blood Omen 1 comes to gog
Definitely the weakest point of otherwise great franchise.

But the more important thing is the question - where is Blood Omen 1? :p
Nay.
My hands are shaking... me... want... Blood Omen1!!!!!

Anyway, thanks for BO2. Not a mindblowing game but as always in the LoK series, the writing and acting will keep you going and look past some flaws. Also, despite the fact that the gameplay seemed pretty dated even when the game was released, I considered it to be rather enjoyable. Melee combat is slow and clunky but it works, some of the special skills (and riddles that need you to use them) are pretty enjoyable and interesting... solid game set in a great franchise. Nothing else to say.
Why GOG?! Why have you withheld the begining of this excellent series? Is it to torture us? Is it to make us suffer one miniscule iota of what Kain had felt? I don't know, only you people know. I know it is coming so I'll wait patiently a while yet.

Agreed on the acting part but definitely not on the writing part. It's obvious from the first dialogue that Amy Hennig didn't work on this one.
My guess is that Blood Omen 1 needs a lot of work on it. It is a 1997 game
