Kings Bounty: Crossworlds GOTY, the ultimate package containing the Armored Princess campaign and many extensions, is available on GOG.com 40% off! That's only $14.99, until Thursday, January 17, at 10:59AM GMT.

Sir Gilbert, the defender of Endoria, is nowhere to be found and the realm is in need of a new hero. Or a heroine. Princess Amelie steps in and takes on the mantle of the prime knight. So begins her amazing, and sometimes dangerous, journey through the many mysterious corners of the land she calls home. Theres much at stake, as the dark forces that threatened the people of Endoria in the past are gathering once more. Actually, even conquering them won't be the end of the Armored Princess' struggle. There's always another quest ahead, when you're the hero.

Kings Bounty: Crossworlds GOTY consists of the basic Armored Princess campaign, the Crossworlds expansion and plenty other add-ons, like the Orcs on the March, and Champion of the Arena, so you can expect to spend many hours in the gorgeous, magical realm of Endoria. A real treat for any fan of Heroes of Might and Magic type of games, mixing strategy and RPG elements. Make sure not to miss it!

Set out on your great adventure in the beautiful high-fantasy realm of Endoria! Get Kings Bounty: Crossworlds GOTY, for only $14.99, this week only!

G-Doc: How about $14.99?
Maybe, if that was the base price. Otherwise, still no.

deonast: In that case my mind may have filtered them out if I saw them. I tend to stick to DRM free, I'm funny that way, not trusting that a service won't go bust or do something really iffy in the future. DRM leaves a restriction that could always come back to bite you in the future. Steam probably won't go under any time soon, unless their executives embezzle funds and mismanaged the company. You never know.
There has to be a point where DRM-free stops being the better option, however. Like when this game has gone down all the way to $3 on sites with DRM, making the DRM-free version of it cost you five times more.

I don't see where's the problem. People who don't mind the DRM, can buy it for $3 from somewhere else. People who'd still rather get it DRM-free, can. More choice = good. And the prices tend to set themselves to sensible levels over time.
This game is excellent, I would recommend it to any turn based strategy fan. Just make sure that you play the Orcs on the March campaign right away, there is no point to play it without it as it just adds more stuff, which you wouldnt wanna miss.

Now GIVE ME the new Kings Bounty, Warriors of the North, its a steamer, so I want it HERE!

Xuio: 25$? You must be kidding.
At the same time, Steam sells Armored Princess for 17€ ($22.27) and Crossworlds for 15€ ($19.65), which adds up to 32€ ($41.91). Compared to $41.91, $25 doesn't sound that bad at all. :)
Nice release! I've been looking forward to a DRM-free release of Armored Princess. :D

That sounds like a good argument. However, I don't know if I had bought it for that price, but the $15 are quite a good start in my opinion. It's already on my shelf :-)
I've never played Kings Bounty, it always seemed a tad heavy on the spec side. I'm at a loss as to be happy or sad on his one. Screw it, I'll be happy!
Got it already, but wishlisting anyway, because of DRM-free addiction.
The same bundle from GamersGate sold at $30.

Not too bad eh? $5 less, you can buy one more GOG game with that.

I don't have them in any form yet (retail or DRM digital), so I am now lured to get it (from GOG). KB: Legends I already have, from GOG of course.

I'll have to see my budget though, Jan-Feb is always quite tight for me due to Christmas and many annual bills coming at this same time, and I was now supposed to buy flight tickets to Thailand too...

There is already drm-free retail release (UPC: 755142721039). I can get it - new, from ebay (with shipping) for exactly 14,29$. So this gog's offer is overpriced.

I can't, because Amazon does not sell it to me. And for me, comparing retail versions to digital versions is partly apples to oranges. Are you sure the retail version does not have any copy protection either? If it does, I don't consider it DRM-free.

Anyway as said, if you feel the Amazon version is a better deal, by all means get it from there instead. Or do you go around all sites which are selling it over the Amazon retail price, complaining how their version is overpriced? Steam, GamersGate etc.?

Heck while you are at it, why don't you complain to Amazon themselves that their digital download version costs more than their retail version ($30, which is more than GOG's $25)?

Steam does bundles though.

King's Bounty Platinum ($30) : Legend + Armored Princess + Crossworlds. So yeah, it's really not as far off as you're making it seem at all.

Even better, that platinum was $7,50 on the last sale it had.

Bought the digital Platinum edition back in 2011 for 4.99. I think mine has DRM, but I don't remember ever typing in the key I was given during the install.

I agree with some of the posts that this is pretty expensive.

I actually thought this would include Warriors of the North and was a complete King's Bounty set.

Edit: Lastly, I think it's very helpful when others post whether something is expensive or cheap. I know there are many fans of DRM-free and will pay anything to get it, but still, as enough posts mention, it's worth mentioning if another option is drastically cheaper. In my case, I picked up the digital version on sale for 85%+ off.

No need for people to be mean about it either way.
