htown1980: Hmmm... Mac version. Drm free. Not yet fully released so I don't have to add to my backlog yet. Not too long. I think I will buy.

rampancy: If you're interested, you can check out my review of it here, at Inside Mac Games. I'm generally one to shy away from episodic games, but I really think that Kentucky Route Zero is worth a look, if you give it a chance. It's one of the most unique "games" I've played in a long time.
Thanks mate, I'm picking it up now.

groze: We actually study some of Bradbury's work in my University and it definitely has magic realism elements. He was more of a science fiction, dystopian author, but magic realism is absolutely not incompatible with that genre.
"Dandelion Wine" mentioned by Judad is not SF :)

I'm aware of that, hence why I mentioned we approach some of his work and that he was more of a sci-fi author. :P
Episodic games where the episodes aren't all done yet are only a small step away from steam's "early access" concept. You're paying for something that isn't finished yet, and indeed may never be finished, where your money is supposed to be helping the dev complete the game.

Pass.

even though the first episode isn't very long and obviously ends with a cliff-hanger, it's a finished thing and it's a final thing (no bugs, no things that will eventually change or be replaced by something)

it's really not that similar :)

but it's of course your right to pass...
I'll look into the first episode once the 5th is released and is bugfree.

JudasIscariot: Also, for those audiophiles in the crowd, we are waiting on the FLAC versions of both soundtracks so expect to see those soon :)

tokisto: YAY! That´s the way I like it! :)
Check your account as we just got the FLACs fresh outta the oven :)

People who are uncertain whether they'd enjoy this game could try the interludes, which are free to download; I've posted links in the KRZ subforum: http://www.gog.com/forum/kentucky_route_zero_season_pass/interludes

They would be a nice bonus for GOG release.
Thanks for the links - is there any order in which I should play?

The release order is L&D followed by TE. http://cardboardcomputer.com/2014/02/10/act-iii-progress-update/ says TE has implications which will become apparent in Act III. L&D ties into a sequence in Act I. But Act III isn't out yet, and L&D will feel as though it didn't make much obvious sense whether you've played Act I or not, so it probably doesn't matter that much; just enjoy the ride. :-)
GOG is just killin' it this year.

Certainly will :) Thanks!
Looking at the trailer and screenshots, I like how the graphics look, with the dynamic lighting and beautiful scenery. Dunno, it's just appealing to me.
