Enter the Past. Alter the Present. Save the Future.

Embark on a journey through time, explore ancient civilizations, and save time (and reality itself!) for only $5.99 now on GOG.com.

Journeyman Project 3: Legacy of Time casts you as Gage Blackwood, legendary Agent 5 of Temporal Security Agency (a kinder, friendlier TSA), who has saved Earth and time a few times already. The TSA has been closed down as the "powers that be" decided that time travel is too dangerous, but rogue Agent 3 manages to cause a temporal rip and Gage must once again travel back in time to capture her and protect the Earth from an alien invasion. A brand new time-travelling gizmo, the Chameleon Suit, will allow you to disguise yourself as any person you’ve met and wander freely through the mythical cities of Atlantis, Shangri La, and El Dorado. Can you track down the elements of an ancient alien relic, Legacy of Time, before the Alien fleet destroys human civilization, Earth, and time?

Journeyman Project 3: Legacy of Time was one of the first games ever to be released on a DVD, which accounts for huge amounts of stunning 3D graphics, animations, live-action cutscenes, and absolutely epic plot. Thanks to the Chameleon Suit, the game now features interaction with NPCs, which, along with 360° freedom, allows you to immerse yourself in the beautiful 3D world. The developer of Journeyman series decided to innovate instead of taking the slightly-modify-and-polish approach to making another sequel. They redesigned almost everything (apart from the story and puzzles) and delivered a real treat for adventure game enthusiasts.

Journeyman Project 3: Legacy of Time, the epic time travel adventure, is available for only $5.99 on GOG.com
Wishlisted for sure.

I have those on CD, but I have so much trouble making them work (Audio harware acceleration has to be turned off). I wonder how they managed to fix that.

Makes me wonder if they'll be able to make "The Ring" work. I have the boxed version, but I never managed to make it work on a modern machine.
I found the original unopened CD version of this a few months ago for $5.00 at Half Price Books, but I cannot run it on 7. Is there a way I can use the version I have to play it? at least until I can buy this version...
Oh my God, I was eBaying for this the last night o.o;

I've been able to run it on Windows 7 (make good use of the compatibility functions and run them as administrator), but it's rather glitchy (make sure to turn off audio acceleration or you'll get really bad sound).
Looks nice. I'm sure I'll play this eventually, but only if they get the first game in the series. I like to play games in order.
One of my favorite games. Very nice addition to GoG.
I love this game. Well... not as much as I love JMP2. I REALLY hope that bringing 3 out means that they've also got the first game ready to go. I mean, yeah, there's a recap of the first game in 2, but it's just not the same as playing it.
hmmm, I've bought JP2 here and loved it for the first couple of hours but then something really started to bug me about it and I stopped playing, uninstalling it right after. wonder what it was, I don't remember anymore... I should install it again to find out :)
Instant buy!
I loved the second one and I've never been able to find a working copy of this one, so having it here means I can finally discover how the trilogy ends.
Aww I was hoping GOG would include a physical copy of the suit as an extra :(. It'd be great for cosplaying !
I like the fact that the highlighted bit inside the magnifying glass is exactly the same size as the rest of the image :-D

Haha, yeah. I suppose it's just to draw your attention, but they might as well have just circled the trees in the main image.

That was the thing, I am a big audiophile, and if the sound does not work properly, it is unplayable for me. That was my issue with Zork Nemesis. I could play them, but it was not quite right. but I saw a post about a fix, and all is good now.
Another adventure on Wishlist. great, thx.
I submitted a rather long-winded review of this game, baed on the original Mac OS 9 release which I loved so well (and recently) replayed.

Man, what a fantastic game. To me, this represented the high-water mark of the adventure genre, though, I did find the puzzles a little too simple and easy in many places (compared to Buried in Time, and Myst/Riven).

The plot and writing of this game are truly awesome. It incredibly impressed me how they were able to weave together the plot threads from both the original Journeyman Project and Buried in Time to give Legacy an impressive amount of context. That and it gives the endings to both games a healthy twist -- it's not a twist which is wholly unexpected or unpredictable (the bad guys weren't really "bad", just misunderstood, etc.) but it really made the story a lot more engaging and immersive.

Sadly, I'm not sure if I'll be able to get this to run under WINE or not.

It was probably Arthur, and his snide commentary on what you did in JP2. He's back and just as chatty as ever in JP3. Thankfully there's an option in the game where you can dial down his commentary, or shut him up completely. Personally, I liked Arthur...
