Test your intelligent design!

Incredipede, an imaginative puzzle game with unique mechanics and remarkable art style, is now available on GOG.com 20% off. That's only $11.99 until Thursday, November 1, at 10:59AM GMT.

Creatures changing their ways and their physique over thousands of generations, adjusting to their ever-changing natural habitat? How impractical! Had there been a chasm in their path, they would have to wait hundreds of years and sacrifice countless legions of their brethren on futile attempts to get to the other side, before one of them was finally born with legs strong enough to complete the task. What a waste of time and energy. Why in the world would you want to wait for them to learn to solve their problems on their own? That's not the way nature works, I tell you. If they need need wings, give them wings! If they need gills, just strap some on them! Ha! Evolution--what a laughable concept.

Incredipede is an exceptional game on many levels. The first thing that instantly stands out is its art style. The world of Incredipede looks like a woodcut illustration of some XVIII century book. The unique look of this game is easily matched by its original concept. You help a strange creature named Quozzle reach its goal in a multitude of cleverly designed stages. To do so, you equip it with extra limbs and strap muscles on its body, to handcraft it into a fantastic specimen designed exclusively to conquer the obstacles at hand. But there's still a whole other layer to the game. The ability to produce your own levels and creatures, share them online, and browse other players' creations and solutions, make Incredipede a limitless sandbox for devious puzzles, mindblowing experiments, and perfecting your intelligent designs!

Step in to the beautiful, woodcut lands and become the Creator and master of faith of the strange creature known as the Incredipede, for only $11.99.
So...only 1 new release today?

Agreed. After the nice MoHAA surprise on Tuesday I feel just empty with only one indie release today. Well, at least it seems to be quite a nice indie game.

I honestly expected a AAA release today

1 Good old game and 2 Indie games is not a good balance

Not to mention that only 3 releases per week is, well....pretty weak in my opinion

ha - and I was happy when there was only 1 release per week. To many games to play anyway. Luxury problem?

I remember the time when GOG would do 2 releases per week, not many people complained since GOG focused on old games

now GOG is focusing on: Old releases, Indie releases, AAA releases

I was honestly expecting the very least, a 4-5 releases per week when the whole "Newer" thing launched
This looks really fun..

It was amok who pointed that out, not me. But you're still welcome, if you found my post helpful. ;)
Wow. This actually looks really cool. And the art is something other than just "retro pixels!"

HiPhish: Or pondering to retro nostalgia.

adamzs: Well, it all depends on perspective. In my book, all of those things are good.
Yeah, I guess if you grew up with those kinds of games. I didn't and most (not all) modern indy games feel like cheap imitations, like a photocopy of a photocopy, while the actual classics are still great fun even though I'm only now playing them for the first time. This is why I love GoG, some of those classics would be impossible or very expensive to track down.
I'm expecting GOG to give us,
Simon The Sorcerer 4-5
Zanzarah the Hidden Portal
Wizardry Series (including 8th and Nemesis)
Elder Scrolls Series (including Battlespire and Redguard)
Legacy of Kain Blood Omen
Severance
Alpha Storm
System Shock Series
American McGee's Alice
American McGee's Scrapland
Descent to Undermountain
Witchaven Series
Shadowcaster
Eye of the Beholder Series
Dungeon Hack
Dungeon Master Series
Drakan
The Forgotten Realms Archives / Gamefest: Forgotten Realms Classics / Advanced Dungeons & Dragons Masterpiece Collection / Goldbox
Wizards and Warriors
Gex Series
Shadow Man
Dark Forces Series
Strife Trust no One
Omikron
Final Fantasy Series
Spellcross
Syndicate Wars
Carmageddon 2
Evil Twin
Resident Evil Series
Metal Gear Solid Series
Pandemonium 2
Rune
Heavy Metal FAKK2
Harry Potter Series
Lemony Snicket's
Klingon Honour Guard
The Wheel of Time
Clive Barker's Undying
Heretic Series
Elite Force Series
Bard's Tale Series
Myth Series
Shannara
Dark Earth
Tron 2.0
No One Lives Forever Series
Requiem Avenging Angel

Aliens vs Predator Series
Turok Series (including Evolution)

You ungrateful, miserable people. They're providing you with a service, at low price, with a fuckton of extras and you complain they're not giving you enough? You're not paying a subscription, here. You already got everything you paid for, and more.

Love you, GOG <3
That's... surprisingly creepy. Wishlisted. Wish it had more extras, though.
