Wishlisted for now... wishlisted a credit card too xD
Far be it for me to actually stay on topic....but....:P

IWD is probably my fave D&D RPG ever and the enhanced editions sounds juicy juicy juicy, however so does the BG Enhanced and I've come to find out that it is buggy as hell and not really worth it to anyone who owns the original BG.

Any words on how this compares?
I'm actually curious how the new spells and items mesh with the game. When I first heard of IWD:EE having those I thought it would be pretty bad idea, but I would appreciate anyone that has a first hand experience to state an opinion on the end result.

Soccorro: GOG.COM EMPLOYEE!!! Which Lucas Arts titles are next!? Quick! Corner him! Don't let him escape!

JudasIscariot: I don't know?
Republic Commando 2 confirmed!
It's nice to see it as a day one release here, but (like the Baldur's Gate EEs) it's far too expensive if you already own the original game. But it certainly is a good deal for new players.
totally buying this tomorrow love me some Icewind dale.
Nice release. Will pick it up within a few days.

Tallima: Jedi Knight, Rebellion and TIE FIGHTER 2!!!
Pit Droids!
I won't comment on the quality of the EE versions as I haven't played them but I can say that Icewind Dale is one of the greatest crpgs ever made. Don't hesitate to buy it! I finished them countless times since the day it got released but every winter I keep returning to them.

Welcome to Kuldahar & enjoy your stay! ;-)

This is only one review, but things look promising as far as the bugs and such go, if this is right:
http://www.gameplanet.com.au/pc/reviews/g545155e4a817f/Icewind-Dale-Enhanced-Edition-review/?utm_source=rss

("Devoid of the litany of introduced bugs and questionable additions that hamstrung the initial releases of both Baldur’s Gate games, Icewind Dale Enhanced Edition is a much more polished and user friendly game than its vanilla predecessor. The team has obviously invested in improving the core experience, bug squashing, rule fixing, and general tweaking.

All of the previous enhancements from Beamdog’s earlier releases have been included here. The ability to zoom in and out makes a welcome return. The ability to render the UI at your screen’s display resolution is one addition that is great to see on release. Bugs have been crushed, text spellchecked, pathing and general performance have been refined. None of the fumbles seen in earlier releases seem to be present here. It’s not perfect, but this is a very solid release.")
Another one for the wishlist.

Don’t know a lot more about it, but sub-classes and spells from BG2:EE are included.
That might make it a more valuable re-release than the BG ones (in the new content field at least).

Thanks akhliber. :D I can't push the 19.99 right now (thank you LA) but as soon as I can I'm for sure snagging it. Very nice release.

Russonc: Not sure...have the complete versions of 1 and 2. (still haven't played either). Is the enhanced version worth the money for those with the compete original version??
Can't give you an objective answer on this one, but subjectively, I'd say wait until a 50% discount at least.

Expans are usually 50% the price of the original game or less. This one is a whooping 200% the price of the original game. Clearly, they mean to appeal to Icewind Dale hardcore fans.

It's probably an extra incentive if you haven't finished the game already (I have).

The extras seem nice, but the main draw for me on this edition is the fixed multiplayer so that I can play with my buddies. That's not worth 20$ though. There are other games I can play with my friends until the price goes down.
