The Enhanced Edition fully restores the classic RPG gem giving it a new life with numerous tweaks, updates, and upgrades. You'll be able to explore quest content cut from the original game, now finished and restored, join your fellow adventurers in cooperative, cross-platform multiplayer games, take advantage of all new interface, including the new Quickloot bar, wield dozens of new spells and items, including new magic armor and weapons, and add characters of previously unseen player classes to your party. The Enhanced Edition includes both original expansions: Heart of Winter and Trials of the Luremaster.

Under the ancient branches of Kuldahar's mighty sacred tree, in the the northern reaches of the Spine of the World mountains, a new adventure destined to inspire legends and myths is about to begin. So, which is better? Is it like BG: EE? Because I like the original BG better. I don't know... I guess it's all a matter of opinion. Either way, I think I won't spend 20 bucks on an 'HD' remake.
Going by the complaints of bugs for BGEE and BG2EE on their initial release I'm going to just wishlist this for now.
Hey, I see there’s a French version of IWD:EE…
Do you think some smart hacker at GOG.com could use this to build us a French version of the original Icewind Dale?

Otherwise GOG.com could just send me a gift code for IWD:EE and I’ll do it for them ;)

jalister: Thank you Beamdog for releasing this here on day one DRM free, where it belongs. I remember having long discussions on your forum regarding DRM. This was my favorite of the Infinity Engine games. I will be getting this later, unfortunately I can justify the full price against my current budget.

Now if you could just get these onto Linux.

JudasIscariot: Linux version is on the way to us so hold tight :)
GOG.COM EMPLOYEE!!! Which Lucas Arts titles are next!? Quick! Corner him! Don't let him escape!
Wow, price is lower then on Steam, at least here
This looks really good!

Niggles: as the EE versions have all been made with tablets in mind :/.
I'm rather confused by this comment. The Android and iOS versions have touchscreen support, yes, but the Win/OSX/Linux versions all use the same UI and keyboard/mouse setup as the original (with additional features like zoom, quick loot, and scaling, sure).

Will wishlist this for now too, already have the original one.
