First Kentucky, then the world!

Humans Must Answer, an old-school horizontal shoot-em-up with razor-sharp visuals, a non-stop storm of blazing projectiles, and a witty back-story, is available 33% off on GOG.com. That's only $6.66 for the first week!

For thousands of years the humankind slaughtered and devoured chickens. With ruthless bestiality, the evil inhabitants of the Solar System consumed billions of innocent poultry lives. Those blood-drenched criminals are always hungry for avian flesh and there was no stopping the genocide. Until now. Today, we fight back, for our brethren spending their lives in the horror of the human regime. For every leg, every nugget, every wing--humans must answer!

Humans Must Answer delivers the classic arcade gameplay of the space-ship shoot-em-up genre with a considerable plot twist. This time you won't be defending the Earth. You'll be the alien invader, instead. As a brave pilot of the intelligent cosmic chicken race, you'll take vengeance for all of the chickens that humankind consumed in history. Making your way through the Solar System, you'll face the human forces in frantic battle and make sure they answer for their carnivorous ways. This fantastic game coming from the people who once brought you S.T.A.L.K.E.R. may, or may not make you rethink your diet. One thing's certain: it will entertain you with its amazing looks and great gun-blazing gameplay!

If you too think that Humans Must Answer for their crimes against chickenkind, get this fantastic shoot-em-up for only $6.66 on GOG.com! That's 33% off until Thursday, July 18, at 9:59AM GMT.
It looks like an excellent oldschool shmup. Visually, it reminds me somewhat of Jets'N'Guns, which by the way should also be here.

Well, they (the developers) say it is inspired by Jets'N'Guns and R-Type, so... ;p
Looks good, but not a big shmup fan, so I'll pass.

Barry_Woodward: Speaking of S.T.A.L.K.E.R., vote for the series on the wishlist!

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow Of Chernobyl
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Clear Sky
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Call Of Pripyat
I didn't realize Humans Must Answer was from some of the same guys that made S.T.A.L.K.E.R. -- made me even more interested in the game :)

BTW, I guess when you come from Eastern Europe you're actually used to producing amazing things on a shoestring. After all, these guys only asked for £5,000 for Humans Must Answer just a few months ago and have already done exactly what they said they would do -- finished the game and delivered it.

Compare that to Double Fine that haven't even managed to produce half a game in over a year and now need more than the 3.3 MILLION dollars they already got. Amazing.

Stooner: There's a Beta Demo in the website: (dropbox link doesn't work)
http://sumomgames.com/blog-25
The other link worked but the rar-file got corrupted.

Are there any other links? It was rather slow the one that worked too.

I found one: GamersHell

Stooner,

It's 324 MB, I'd say cancel the one from SumomGames and go with the one from Gamershell (thanks Nirth!) -- it's a LOT faster :)

I'll do that! Thanks! :P
(the problem with Gamershell is that it always trigger a virus alert in my PC, from the ads I guess.. well, it used to ;p)

Thank you too, Nirth!
Not very much into horizontal R-Type shooter. But it looks nice.

Hey! Developer here \ :D /

Thanks for the checking the game out and for linking to the demo so people can get a feel for it :D

Just wanted to clarify that it is a beta demo we released BEFORE the Kickstarter. The game has been tweaked and changed a lot since then, thankfully :)

Ha! That's why I said in bold letters "Beta Demo"... :P

Thanks for your hard work!..

Yikes. 1GB VRAM minimum? I have that, but wow.

Yeah, I'm not sure why GOG says 1 Vram minimum req. That's overcautiousness and with 512 you should be fine. Promise!
